The Cinematic Laboratory - Westcoast Techno

Westcoast synthesis is often associated with weird alien music, which had something to do with the 1960's, magic substances and the need to stay as far away from conventional music as possible. But in the end it's just technology to make the music you love. This video starts with bleeps and bloops from a galaxy far away (very short, don't worry) on the MakeNoise CV-Bus Shared System, and then we will go from Detroit to Berlin for some Coast 2 Coast techno.

The kick is coming from the #STO and kicked by Tempi, #Morphagene plays found kitchen sounds I recorded with a field recorder and spliced into a reel. #0Coast plays a bass line sequenced by Rene, but the raw oscillator output is also mixed in as a low end drone. Mimeophon glues everything together in Zone 7 (that still had something in memory from a previous patch).
