Prioritizing Value When Buying Nylon Kit

I'm trying out the slick plate carrier and chest rig combo at the moment, and I just cant seem to get comfy with the sholder straps of both a plate carrier and the chest rig together at the same time...let alone a backpack on top. Would love to see how your fitting this to your body while in use. Thanks.

Ace Tac is a great alternative, cheaper than some of its competitors and still uses nir compliant nylon. Maybe not as modular, however all the things that were shown here could easily find a spot and be accessible

Is side armor not important?

If time comes that I need a kit like that there will be that stuff around in times like that.

With this setup how are you stowing your NVG’s when they are not stuck to your forehead?

@TrEXARMORY what I and allot of others need (being poor), is a "cheap priced kit". that will serve its purpose, without having to sell an organ, to buy anything from TREX. either that or just stick to a Chinesium Knock-offs, from Temu, Amazon, Ali Express, etc. etc. we all would love to have TREX Products but us poors cannot afford it. therefore, what I am asking is for TREX to do a well under $75. Gear Line, catered toward poors. Poor's need and deserve good/great gear too! however I do not think TREX cares enough about poors to even consider it, or if you do, thats all you will do, is consider it!

3. Get a belt
4. get a chest rig, not a micro rig.
5. get a plate carrier with armor
6. get a helmet
7. if you got money, work towards LAMS and NVG.

Lots of kit is good, being able to arm other fellers is good

he says „getting the best bang for your buck“ and then he continues with T-Rex gear where just the chest rig without anyting on itcosts 250€. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Value for money is buying surplus. There are plenty of places to get used nylon that's perfectly capable of carrying magazines radios and medical. If you can afford buying new products from US companies, go for it.

My issue is which slick plate carrier do I get. One that fits well under a flannel or one that could fit under a flannel or jacket but not as well and is better for just having some form of protection

Also a medium length esstac places rifle mag lower, which is nice.

I'm always learning something new when Brandon talks about his kit, like the use of thigh straps for the dump pouch! Any chance of a MOLLE attachment for the Trex dump pouch so that you can run another AR mag? The current velcro attachment on the dump pouch is pretty bulky

The best setup is the one that works for you. Find what fits you, feels natural, and what you won't mind wearing for hours at a time. The only way to figure that out is trial and error. Practice in your gear.

I agree with not having 20 rifles for no reason, but I personally can't put all my eggs in one basket and have only one rifle, one pistol, one set of kit, etc. If I were to have only one rifle, and use it in a home defense situation, and the rifle gets taken from me for evidence, I would be left with nothing, if something really bad were to happen.
