Wow, you have made me so hugely happy this chilly morning in England. I am so glad I found you, thank you so so much. 💖 I am going straight over to look you up on Ravelry.
ОтветитьIt is a cold, rainy day here so it was so warm and comforting to sit with you by your fire (in my empty-because-of-Covid workplace!) and crochet. Thank you for all your wonderful videos.
ОтветитьI just stumbled across your pod cast tonight and found it lovely. I am just starting my natural dyeing, weaving , wet felting and spinning journey. I learned how to knit about 4 years ago. I will follow along with you hear.
ОтветитьThose socks though! 🤗
ОтветитьBeautiful podcast! So relaxing, like Denise’s Earthtones Girl. I’ve heard you with Denise on Instagram Live. Love watching and listening to you both.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your outdoors environs, so peaceful and joyful to watch your podcast. I, really into knitting socks, trying shorties this time. Now that I’ve seen your lovely shawl WIP, I may have to cast one on too!
Ответитьmmmm those natural dyed yarns 😍😍😍 i love the idea of a colorwork cowl for those, but also adore the idea of using them for a yoke sweater too. I'm currently binding off my Shift cowl while we visit! such a lovely visit, thank you for sharing with us, Marce! big love to you! - chels
ОтветитьVery much enjoy your podcasts! Love your calm voice and the area you live! I'm working on a knitted jacket with Icelandic yarn.
ОтветитьI pretty sure i had the same reaction when you showed your finished skein... it is everything. 🥰
ОтветитьOoooooooh, that avocado dyed yarn is scrumptious!!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your information on natural dyeing.
ОтветитьI just recently found your podcast after Denise mentioned you. I could listen to you all day! Your voice and your approach is so soothing and calming. You are very talented and you MUST be a motivational speaker! I have since watched several of your podcasts and find all of them equally a pleasure. Thank you for sharing all you do, Karen
ОтветитьLove the tea cup with stars and moon.. Do you know where you bought it? Love u too.. It was 17 degrees near Woodstock NY - fire place going
ОтветитьSo excited to see Black Leaf tea! I live not far from her shop. Her Glow tea is amazing! 💜
ОтветитьSo enjoyed seeing your natural dyeing fiber/spinning efforts! I recently tried some dyeing with avocado skins/pits and am currently knitting that yarn up into a Whitmoor sweater (by Ami Lowden). It gave my yarn such a lovely shade of blush pink and I absolutely love it! Also really love your Ritual shawl - gorgeous colors, gorgeous pattern - will definitely have to give that a try!! 😊
ОтветитьVery interesting, love the colours - amazing ❤️🇨🇦
Ответить🥰
ОтветитьYou make me feel so calm!
ОтветитьBeautiful dye and spun yarn! Last summer I started an adventure to begin dying yarn and now I would love to begin spinning. Any suggestions where to begin with the basics?
Also, thank you for your lovely podcasts! 💞🧶
What a beautiful color. Amazing what nature can do. I loved the calmness of your video’s so much I subscribed. Thank you for bringing a peacefulness in a world full of crazy right now. I really enjoyed them. I have no access to natural wool yet! But I’m going to try this on some fabric’s I have. Thanks again Texas Dee in NM💜💜
ОтветитьHow lovely to visit with someone from Florida,,, I am looking forward to using your dyes on cotton and linen.. I shop at my local thrift store and buy all the old linen table clothes... some are for future projects and presently I have them as draperies in my solarium.
ОтветитьThanks for the lovely visit. The fire pit in my backyard is also a favorite space. Mine is currently surrounded by snow but still perfect. We will hopefully be enjoying a fire this weekend as we welcome spring in Maine. Lu
ОтветитьDear BrownBerry,
Today is the first time, I came across your podcast, it was very inspirational and motivating with that soothing voice of yours. At the end of your program I realized that what you were saying, was what I havebeen doing, so far, which is: Nothing! In the sense that I have a million things to do and all are a priority, therefore, management time and procrastinating has been my life for the hast few years. I shall put this, to practice, know that is not going to easy but want to giv it a try.
Hi first time here, I was surprise that you leave in Florida. I move from Florida to NJ 13 years ago. Like your podcast.
ОтветитьJust dicovered your channel (while knitting, lucky coincidence!). Love your videos and your garden! Drank my tea hot too, yeah..
Love from the Netherlands.
So happy to see you Marce! ❤️❤️❤️❤️Keep being you! Just working on a granny stripe blanket
ОтветитьIt’s my first time watching your podcast- what a lovely way to spend an early morning before the noise and energy of my online Kindergarten class. I’m working on the Spring Intentions Wrap by Katt Weaver as my easy fun project and a gansey sweater (Docking by Martin Storey) which is my slow project due at Christmas for my son.
ОтветитьHey I have the exact same tea strainer/steeper!! Hhmm love this time with you, so relaxing and wonderful! Love from WA state ❤️
ОтветитьCome move to Washington 😉
ОтветитьSuch a lively, peaceful episode, just what my daughter and I needed while the little one slept!
You asked about what viewers are working on for the new season... well it's still really cold here in South West England (it was 7°C when little one and I went to see the farmer and his cattle this morning, she does love a good tractor!) so of course i am working a 4ply linen at present (he he! But I will be prepared when summer comes!) knitting Alice, by Hiroko Fukatsu. I am learning new skills and will have a lovely top to wear either over a dress, with a skirt or light weight trousers when it's finished.
The pink you got from the avocado is stunning!!! I’m thinking if you had some natural yarn you could do a vest quite easily with those colours
ОтветитьEnvious of the fire.
Your hand dyed yarn is lovely. I see it in a colour work jumper.
I love your shawl pattern. May make that up.
👏🏼😇👏🏼
ОтветитьHi, nice to meet you again. I have been binch-watching you :-) and I saw your video where you were fixing your cadigan with the much too long sleeves. That reminded me of a cardigan that I had to finish. It is my first steek, so I was a little anxious about it. And my sleeves were also much to long. So today I settled near the window (it is a darkbrown cardigan) and made a start. I crocheted the two sides of the steek, and cut of the borders of the sleeves. Now I first will make the new borders on the sleeves, than make the borders at the steek and then .... cut it. Fingers crossed!!
ОтветитьSo lovely to see you podcast again, somehow I was not alerted to it :-(. While you are starting with Spring, we here in South Africa has started with an unseasonal chilly Autumn. so am planning some winter clothes to make as mine are getting a bit tatty. Also making baby and toddler clothes for an online shop now which I am really loving!
ОтветитьLovely to see your stunning natural dyed and spun yarn. Are there restrictions on disposing of the left over dye liquid with alum as mordant? That’s what always puts me off. I think we have to get permission from our local council....
ОтветитьHey. I am a male knitter/dyer form Hungary. I have just found your channel and I cant describe how relaxing was watching it. Thank you for these videos. Please dont stop doing it.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьLooking forward to making the Ritual shawl. Right now I am finishing wips as I am going to have hand surgery in July. Finished a baby cardigan and now working on a cap. Just bound off a scarf which is now blocking. Love your podcast . You have a very meditative voice.
ОтветитьI’m so glad I found your channel, it was so relaxing to hang out in bed, knitting on my current project and enjoying all the nature scenes and sounds in your lovely video 💕🙏🏽 I’m currently working on Phoebe by Josée Paquin in some beautiful dark blue and speckled yarn. Couldn’t ask for a better start to a much needed Labor Day off 🤗💕
ОтветитьAvacado gives pink? 🤯
That’s astounding. And so cool.
Absolutely lovely! Such a beautiful video. I thoroughly enjoyed ending my workday with this video. Your smile and peaceful nature keep me coming back.
ОтветитьHi. I am new here, having found you among an old Cabin Boy Knit video. After seeing the interview and the photos of you and Denise, your channel seems like a good fit. I am participating in a MAL with Selma of Little Big Knits about connecting. Current WIP is a scrappy scarf for a friend who lives up near Sacramento- not super cold but chilly no× & then. So connecting with them, by using yarn left from other gift makes. To me, that ties people I love together. I am in the High Desert above Palm Springs where summers can be well over 100F but sometimes freezing in winter. Gotta love standing next to a Yucca tree while looking up at snow covered mountains sometimes even in a bit of snow here too.
Ответитьthe color from the avocado is so pretty...
ОтветитьHaving another sit down with my knitting and chance to catch up. I have a cup of spiced apple tea on the go with the Scrufts cardigan by Katie on my needles. I’m using daughter of a shepherd ramjam yarn and it’s such woolly toothy wool that it really grounds me. I also have my lovely gifts from you and Becks beside me to make me smile.
ОтветитьThat is so beautiful 😍
ОтветитьI love what you've created, twin soul. Thanks for sharing! Signed, another Black girl who knits.
