1. He illegally appointed a corrupt compromised IGP
2. He protected Keheliya Rambukwella even after it was exposed that is substituted cancer medicine with water!
3. He tried to sign an energy agreement with the Adanis at twice the buying price!
4. He approved the outsourcing of VISA issuing to an unknown 3rd party which had no experience in visa issuance who are charging $18 for what India is paying $ 0.5 directly to VFS!
5. He illegally passed the Anti Terrorist Act against the orders of the Supreme Court
6. He has ignored multiple Supreme Court Rulings
7. He has maintained the procurement of fuel though the same channels that the Rajapakses procured fuel.
8. He approved the doubling of compensation of the MP’s houses burnt during the aragalaya.
9. He misused the INTERNATIONAL COVENANT ON CIVIL AND POLITICAL RIGHTS (ICCPR) to jail comedians and journalists.
10. He passed the most crazy authoritarian Bureau of Rehabilitation Act , which allows the government to imprison citizens in concentration camps!
11. He passed The Broadcasting Authority Act which allows the government to cancel broadcasting rights of any broadcaster they like
12. While he renegotiated the bonds of the pension scheme he didn’t do it for the private sector that held the same bonds, some of which had a 30% 6 month return! Rajapakse and their friends.

There is so much more, however the worst most unforgivable crime of RW ….

Ranil is an authoritarian and many of sri lankans do not want him as president. He is also responsible for mass destruction of innocent people and many students back in 88/89. Many who appreciate him do not understand what it means to be a leader. They think being educated (which is not equal to being wise) and having some international connections plus ability to handle conversation in english are what a leader must posess. Not kindness towards his people, patriarchy, flexibility, ability to listen to different parties and make wise decisions those bring contentment to majority. He is definitely not suited to be even a school committee member considering his lack of a moral compass. He is a lawyer as they say but doesnt bother going against the law. He protects thieves and is a thief himself. A criminal, a monster. Being in the parliment for nearly four decades hasnt done anything significant to grow the economy of the country. Definitely one of those who lead us to bankruptcy.
