I always love these types of videos. Hope you had a great trip! I also want you to know that I have read Goodbye, Things upon your recommendation. I really love it, it's a really special book! Thanks again!
ОтветитьDo you maybe have video where you're talking more about this water bottle? :)
P.S. You know that's illegal to use expired documents? I think that in Europe you can even go to jail for this. So I would be careful with this old passport ;)
P.S. 2 No Montreal vlog, huh? :(
I see your diva cup!!! YES GIRLLL!!! loved this video! Hope you had a great trip! That camera bag you use as a wallet is adorable!!!😍
ОтветитьI was just going to mention that if you have a copy of your passport notarized, you can carry it around as valid id, instead of your old passport. 💕🌝
ОтветитьImpressive!! Less stuff allows room for more joy:) Love these videos. Hope you found some great vegan places around Montreal!
Ответитьi love watching packing videos :) thanks for sharing nina :)
ОтветитьI love how you make everything work for you! This yoga mat is the cutest thing I ever seen :)
ОтветитьOh the joys of minimalistic travel! Love not having the stress of carrying so much stuff with me!
ОтветитьNoticed you have your shopping bag wristlet!
Ответитьlove this video! I need to read that book :)
ОтветитьI like to see what people pack too so thanks! I'm on a 10 day trip now and am carrying more than I like but we woke up on the morning of our flight to a snowstorm (Colorado) and are visiting humid and hot areas (south Louisiana and the Florida panhandle) so it's that whole more than one climate dilemma.
ОтветитьI love these type of videos too Nina! It was awesome to see how much you could fit in the Kanken backpack... really inspiring! That backpack has been a total staple since I got it 3 years ago... I use it everywhere no matter where I go! As a "carry-on" bag I also have been using my convertible 45l backpack from Lowe Alpine, if I am traveling for more than 4 days and if I need items for various climate situations that's perfect!
I filmed a "what I've packed video" today, I'm flying tomorrow early morning to Amsterdam and I'll be back on Sunday late evening! I am sooooo excited! :)
Wonderful video, love that you have narrowed down to essentials. I enjoy these videos too. I carry a kindle, but that depends on how much reading you like to do. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьDo you have to do a lot of washing? I packed light for my last trip but had to do laundry every couple of days
ОтветитьExcellent video. Finally - a Minimalist packing light video that truly lives up to it's name - Minimalist! I like how you used an old camera bag as your wallet - I have a bunch of old camera bags - I'm trying to use them on my belt (ala Han Solo), so I don't have to pack so much in satchel or backpack. My travel belt is an adjustable should strap from one of my satchels. On travel day, it's the strap for my travel satchel. Other days on trip, it's my belt. Yours is the best Minimalist packing video EVER - and like you, I've watched a zillion. One lady even titled her video Minimalist - and she packed 6 pairs of shoes!!!! go figure...Yours is great - thank you! Fyi, I found packets online for these items: sunscreen, deodorant, polish remover, fiber drink powder, toothbrush/paste, disinfectant wipes, stain removal wipes. I decided to leave shampoo and conditioner at home. For weekend trips or overnight I wash and braid my hair the day before and wear no-fuss braids. Cover head with bandana if hair gets messy. Bandana can also be used as sleep mask. If I need to wash my hair, I can use the hotel's shampoo and conditioner. Although, because I have super curly long hair, I do bring styling 'goop' (pomade) and gels (in teeny, tiny jars that I confiscated from my art studio). Also, a sarong/pareo has many uses - not just a swimsuit coverup, so I always take one. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Great job!
ОтветитьI literally see these cute backpacks everywhere, I was thinking of getting one like that as well! Love how simple and light you're packing, makes the trip so much more enjoyable in my opinion 😊
Hope you had a great trip🙏
I have enjoyed your sincere videos of your lifestyle. I have listened to about 20 during my commute. I like that your "babe" has an ukulele. Your book reviews are interesting. I have some blogging under the name "The BAD-ASS Baritone Ukulele so your book title caught my attention. I am also using principals from Mr. Money Mustache and the Mad Fientist to accelerate retirement savings. I appreciate that you also talk about when and why you give some practice up. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Jeff

Ответитьthis really helped me pack minimal thanks!
ОтветитьWhat brand is that yoga mat?
ОтветитьLike you said, it's easier to pack less clothing if there will be opportunities to wash clothes and if it's not different climates. ❤ So inspiring to travel lightly. Gotta step up my game, I don't overpack, I can't pack efficiently. 😂
