Great video, thanks! Will the Sony controllers work generally within Vision OS or will they only work inside games?

I’m very excited about the new features,and was strongly considering updating to the beta. I’m going to hold off for a future update now that I saw your the video. Thank you for your candor.

I’m really looking forward to this update but will wait for the official release in the fall. A couple question though.
1) How do the widgets handle going in and out of immersive content. I’m assuming they’re not visible but do they all still stay in place when you exit?
2) The current 2D to Spatial Photo works great but it doesn’t handle reflections (mirrors, water, shiny black cars). Have they made any improvements on this with Spatial Scenes?
3) Does the Virtual Desktop still require you to be right next to the computer to connect or are you able to connect from another room?

They still need to refine the afro hair texture. I have curly/coily hair. While my face looks better, my hair still looks like a chunk of packed cotton with grey strands that I don’t have. It makes me look old.

Do not run VisionOS betas if you require your AVP to function reliably for actual work, vs. developing for it.

Hello. Dont know if this helps for someone. Had the same problem as you're having. The wheel of dead, waiting and waiting. Im getting my wifi in thrue a Netgear Orbi router and satellite. I had a friend visiting me and he said there was a possibillity to put the orbi on IOT, that means it ONLY sends 2.4 and not the other bands. Then i connected the vison pro to the IOT, and problem solved. Havent seen the wheel of dead anymore, and movies start right away. Only one thing you forgot to mention (??) the music playlist on your wall, you can place it there but it doesnt work yet. Great video!

For me shared experience is a very important part of this device, but it REALLY needs to have personas in the shared space for social interaction.

I had a friend pass away and looked at their pic in this version. It was as if they were somewhat present which seems creepy, but it was comforting.

I’ve waited until only just now with this latest beta - to set up my persona.
