I came across them probably 20+ years ago and idk, I wasn’t feeling it. Then right around the time Alexi passed, I got so into the band. Literally have become one of my favorite bands. Rest in Power, Alexi.

I MUST say that his other band "BODOM AFTER MIDNIGHT" sound identical to Children of Bodom so obviously they were pretty much both solo projects... just like most good music is :)

I have a shrine to Laiho in the middle of my local town centre. No one can take it down because they cant climb high as i can. Trust me it was a bloody struggle though haha.
