I absolutely agree with number 1. That episode was fantastic. Each character was done right.

History 101 may not be great, but bringing back Annie Kim for one line "I want ice cream!", is probably in my top three favorite moments.

Fonzi jumped a literal shark early in Happy Days. It went on for years as a hit show. So, the episode doesn't fit the trope it created.

season 4 is streets ahead of season 6. season 6 isnt funny at all. EXTRA THICK STRAPS.?!?!?! NIQQA WTF.

GI Jeff may not be well written, but it's entertaining. Grifting on the other hand makes me turn the snow off it's so boring and unfunny

Am I the only person who hated the entire 'Dictator Chang' plotline? It felt way too similar to 'bad guy Pierce'.
I love the weird and wacky concept episodes and if it had been a one off, like Meow Meow Beans, that would have fit, but making it an entire season arc was just felt a little too dumb, even for Community.

My favorite episodes have got to be the Fistful of Paintballs episodes. They both are great on their own, but even greater when watched together.

Good video. I appreciate the time and effort to cut and paste scenes and then voice over them. However, don't you ever say that the "Ham Girl" episode was not good; how dare you? I am being dramatic?! Oh yeah? That is what people say when they rip out your soul and shove it in your moouuuuth! But yeah, that episode was pretty good because it was a decent parody of actors doing acting and writers doing writing. It might have been too subtle for some to miss but in now way was it a phone in. Oh, and btw the darkest time line episode is one of my most hated because it has no real story and is just a self indulgence , lazy piece of crap that didn't allow any character growth and just allowed for more nonsense. I think Dan Harmon was either too drunk or too hungover to manage that episode.

Wow no wonder I never saw the first Dungeons and Dragons episode, only just watched Community fully about a week or two ago and I had no idea there were banned episodes

It not the best episode by any means, but I do agree when you said if you were more familiar with the 80's GI Joe show and merchandising you would have ranked this episode higher. I am of the age that I am familiar with it and so many of the jokes landed for me because of this.
I did not really notice the explanitory, or I guess really pay attention to them, bits for the audience who were not familiar, because as I said I was pretty fully emersed in how well the captured the feel and conventions of GI Joe and applied them to Community characters.

Obviously I'm gonna have differing opinions, but I'm flabbergasted Conventions of Space and Time ranked so high. Easily worse than GI Jeff, Introduction to Finality, or Intro to Recycled Cinema, imho. Though I do like Recycled Cinema just because it's asinine.

KOTH is a bad example for a generic paintball episode, as that one actually has different music to great effect.

Intro to recycled cinema is actually a favourite episode of mine, for no reason other than I personally related very heavily to Jeffs breakdown the sudden realisation that youre getting left behind is extremely isolating. Not saying its even a good episode, the same arc was done a lot better with Ron in the final season of Parks and Rec - but it did feel poignant to what the show had become about at that point - not how to build a community, but how to accept that the community changes and ends.

im so glad the chicken finger one wasnt even on the list. its good but overrated.

My list of the worst: 0. GI Jeff, it is the single episode I cant even force myself to watch. 1.That whale episode where they have to please a rich kid to make him go to Greendale 2. Grifting class. 3. The late season paintball revival where they try to be secret agents. 4. Jeff meets his dad and brother. 5. The pulp fiction / 'my dinner with' episode. 6. Conventions of space time 7. The season opener where they all sing. 8. The season five opener with Jeff having his office repossessed and all he has left is a whiskey tumbler that gets taken too, it was a really rough attempt at hard resetting the pilot premise where he's a dick but maybe he learns not to be.

Now to be fair, AD&D wouldn't have made Annie wear a Outfit like Ciris because please not forget she is HECTOR THE WELL ENDOWED

I refused to watch Community because they pulled the D&D episode, but it's there now on Peacock. I binged it so fast. Amazing show!

Honestly, I thought the episode with the recycled Chang footage was funny, it's so absurd, such a ludicrous premise, it feels like a shitty student film my friends would have made. Honestly, if like, 6/7 minutes were trimmed I think it would be genuinely great.

Season 4 is better than 6. There I said it. 5 is better than it gets credit for my some. 4 gets more hate than it deserves. 6 is hot garbage. I hated every minute. Just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

Advanced dungeons and dragons is the very first episode I watched and it will forever be my favorite. Everyone says remedial chaos theory is number one but it’s cathartic to see someone agree with me finally.

I would totally switch the Christmas episodes. The claymation one is one of the best ever, as well as Contemporary American Poultry.

As soon as I heard Remedial Chaos Theory was 2nd I knew Advance Dungeons & Dragons was first. Those are always the top 2 no matter what video I have watched... they are my top 2 as well lol.

Thank you for Regional Holiday Music. Everyone talks about Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas, but honestly it's really only notable for its gimmick. Regional Holiday Music is just so, so good. The jokes and the music are so good.

I don’t agree with all of this — I like recycled cinema and grifting and the body swap, and I hate heroic origins. But it’s so nice to see someone else agree that gi Jeff sucks. It’s not funny if you don’t know the source material, and jeff instantly getting over his depression when he wakes up is rushed
