Jon Batiste breaks and mends my heart, over and over. He just seems to be radiant with so much life, so much music pouring into him and out to his listeners, as if its all happening at once. Truly amazing. It was no surprise when I discovered in one interview someone did with him that he is synaesthetic. Painting and sculpting with his music, so that the listeners don't just listen with their ears either, but entirely experience it. Amazing.
