Wow Mel you are such a fantastic player. All your demo/videos I have seen are great.

I was curious, you have a very interesting thumb anchor and almost looks like playing at an angle finger style technique. I've noticed even without the pickup cover you like playing there too, is that because you learned on a p or j bass that had the cover on it first or is that just more comfortable for you/ sweet spot?
