My apologies to y’all from a citizens point of view, not to mention my late husband was a police lieutenant. That cop needs to be made to retire or be fired. He let his ego suppress his sympathy for that family. Seems like there’s always one. He’s an embarrassment to real police officers. Ugh, this guy is such a jackass. I rewatched this episode and I am irritated now as I was then.
He should have just said” I am sorry we missed this. I am so glad these people have given you closer”.

I’m amazed at how many cars are in all our rivers and waterways. Lord knows how many bodies are in the vehicles, just awful .

Jared was very emotional on this case, never seen him that way before.

That jerk officer was NOT the elected Sheriff in my county. That officer should have been fired for the way he acted too. The sheriff is actually a good man and I couldn’t imagine him treating someone like that. I’m so glad the family was able to get a resolution and at least find out what happened.

The police officer was out of control and showed no compassion or sympathy for the situation. Sounds like he is pissed someone else came in and found the vehicle and body immediately and it made him feel inferior instead of superior like he obviously wants to feel. He should have shown compassion and feelings of sadness for this family. Thank you AWP for all your work and helping these families get closure and some relief knowing where their family members are so they can appropriately grieve and have a funeral for their loved ones. I feel so badly all of you at AWP were treated as if you dont know what you're doing and now the big dogs are coming in to do it right. They are so wrong and knowing you've dove and removed more cars and missing family members out of water than anyone else in the USA should tell them just how advanced, knowledgeable and professional you are. They should always allow you to continue with any help you can give. You are a very special group of people. I love you all. Every time I watch this I was getting mad so after watching this the second and third time, I had to stop!🤦🏾‍♂️😑. The way did this family is criminal!👈🏿

This is the second time I've watched this video, and I know this an old video, but it just makes my blood boil at the absolute disrespect those officers had for that poor family. Show disrespect to the people on your turf, sure. But that family deserved way more than what those officers gave, especially after finding the car.

I'm just seeing this and I'm so appalled by the departments of not caring and basically wanting to leave the car at first.
