I already have 1 gal sugar syrup mixed up with the tea tree oil . With that being said, how much wintergreen oil would I add to the mix that I already have?

Hi Fat Bee Man! I was told that treating for varroa with lemon juice, sprinkled over the frames, would be a good way to go. Do you have any idea about this? It should be done on warm months only, I was told.

Hell yes i like the organic Hive treatment videos, I'm getting my 4 hives set up this may out here in southern Oregon. The bee association that i go to was giving a lesson of Varroa mites and treatments, they new nothing about organic fogging or this type of method, the class taught about the Oxalic acid sugar wash or vaporizer.

I have found that tea tree oil kills insects. Have you noticed any losses of bees with this?

So you made 1/2 gallon of stuff I made 1 gallons of mine is half as strong so I need to add 2 cups to 1 gallon correct?

I made a gallon but I only used one teaspoon of each some Minds half as strong as yours correct so I would have to add 2 cups to 1 gallon?

Hi fat bee man my name is Gary from the north west UK United kingdom I want to thank you for a fantastic article on bees treatment with essential oils . I've been keeping bees for about four years now , I recently got a colony of bees from a keeper who was ill and was going to just let them go they had been wintered in the hive but where not able to get out . After collecting them I soon found they had nassema i wanted to treat them naturally and came across your essential oil methad , but it was a different bee keeper showing how to do your method . I got the oils and made the mix but something was not right it had a very powerful smell from the tea tree oil and the lemon grass was very mild , I didn't give it the bees I instead searched out your article on it and found I needed to use food grade oils was a massive difference this made I gave it all my bees and they loved it and the new colony made a recovery in hours I would say before there was lots dying lots of the yellow streeks and some bees with yellow bee poo stool to the bums , this treatment worked great and I wanted to say thankyou for your knowledge I enjoy watching your videos I am partial sighted so you voice helps me alot keep up the videos and I wish you a long and healthy life regards gary
