The best way to avoid disc drive noise............... Is don't use discs lol.
I swear the designers have in mind that people like white noise.... Because they replaced the jet engine fan of the PS4 and Pro, with this bloody disc drive in the PS5.
Physical all the way
ОтветитьDigital but for Steelbook and classic physical you can’t beat a digital library and quick resume on Xbox quick and easy access to a library
ОтветитьIf your PS5 is very loud then that sounds more like its placed somewhere that vibrations will make lots of noise. Or, its got little airflow. My PS5 is next to silent on all games.
ОтветитьI used to prefer physical until the point where consoles made you install games. After that and gamesharing on Xbox, using VPN's and websites like cdkeys and Gamivo etc it became the silly option to go physical
Ответить1 major caveat to digital games is that you DON'T acually own that game, you are paying for the right to play it. Phyisical games however you DO own that game and have the rghts and abilty to sell it on. This is where digital subscriptions are great to a certain extent
ОтветитьI don't think if anyone has thought of this, but what if the software manufacturers go out of business or if support for the system stops because of age? Surely you will no longer be able to download the game even if purchased which undoubtedly means wasted money. At least with most single player games the programme is on the blueray. The future is bleak for collectors as with media you'll own nothing.
ОтветитьYou're not the only one. I've been talking and debating this for 2 months, the clencher for me is simple, I don't have to take out and swap disks any more. I'm lying comfortably and now I'm bord, press stop, press play and there you go, game starts. It's just to download speed and time that kills me
ОтветитьDigital games. You own a key but you don't own the game, if for some reason you loose the digital download it's gone. Physical copy is for life.
ОтветитьI have a physical copy of a game but would prefer it as a download, does that mean I would have to pay again full price for something I already have?
Ответитьl. Can’t. Be. The. Only. One. Who. Thinks. This
ОтветитьHonestly, digital and physical has it's place. I do like the convenience of digital sometimes BUT I have had my account with all my digital games hijacked in the past, losing access to a few hundred digital games. I got it back within 24 hours but who ever did it marked their own playstation as the main system so it locked up certian aspects of the account for 6 months. Now I personally collect more physical games, I haven't got as many as i'd like but it's still nice to have the option.
on that, I can understand not wanting to grab a disk, but it depends where you store them and your own set up, Personally i have the game disks in a binder next to my ps4 and the cases stored elsewhere, if i had space though i'd display them
Problem with digital games is the space 800 and something gb on ps5, I have 8 games on it and it's full! At least xbox series x gives you the option to put in a ssd storage in the back upto 5tb I believe, 1 tb is around 180 quid so the big one must cost around the same as the xbox itself.. Should have made a 2tb option slap on another 150 quid and I'd buy it..
ОтветитьI’m 100% digital and have been since last generation except for the Switch, partly because I like the convenience and partly because I don’t have the space to have a big physical collection.
If I had the space for a physical collection it’d be nice but I don’t feel like I’m missing out because my games are all displayed on my console instead of a shelf
I had a huge physical collection that I recently had to get rid of quickly for a move. It was a stress and a hassle. I bought an xbox at Christmas and love the GamePass. I have bought two games when they were leaving GamePass for a hugely discounted fee. The fact that I have a living room, a bedroom, and an office Xbox (they think a series S is a desk humidifier for my office, I kid you not) and I can pick up exactly where I left off in DayZ is amazing. I wasn't going to install Prime or Netflix or Arrow Films but I have - having these consoles as my media centre just works perfectly for me.
Really thinking about it, I was surprised when I realised how little I went back to old games once I'd moved on, as much love as I had for them.
What my friend does is have pictures on his game room wall of the games he's proud of, and until recently had an Xbox and Playstation 'catalogues' on the table of the game box art of his digital games.
I love physical game collecting but all my PSVR games are digital. It’s just easier changing games and not having to remove the PSVR headset.
ОтветитьSo you have a games room but don't use it?? You'd rather spend TWICE AS MUCH MONEY on digital games and never be able to trade them in or lend it to a friend?????Or like you just said go into your games room and look at it sat there on a shelf???? And all that because you can't be bothered to get off your sofa??? Come on mate love your channel but that's a poor excuse coming from a collector 🫣
ОтветитьI have 51 digital games on my xbox but channels like your inspired me to get collecting again, in one month i now have 50 physical copies for my xbox there is a nice feeling about physically holding the case. Cex has been a godsend for it
Ответитьif we don't buy digitally we can stop them we have it in our own hands people don't be misled they have been trying to do this for a long time they want to implement a social credit system everything in the world digital do your research no joke really
ОтветитьAbout the factual question, we do not ultimately own digital games. We cannot dispose of it.
ОтветитьSony and Microsoft are updating system software with a virus malware bug stopping some physical games from working intentionally forcing users to buy digital games, physical is a scam
ОтветитьDisc snaps or disc drive breaks, still better than digital?
ОтветитьOwning something physical gives you power and liberty , you can trade, sell or borrow ,digital you cannot do any of that . We are moving from an age where we use to own to everything under subscription, is all part of all big tech ,they want us to own nothing and pay for everything
ОтветитьYou own the physical copy for life. The digital copy is just a licence to play the game and it could be removed from the library at any point without warning. Games I purchased in the past have vanished from the Sony store.
ОтветитьIm looking at which ps5 to buy as I've been an xbox user for 10+ years, and i literally can not decide whether to start physically collecting for the ps as well as the xbox. The digital version seems easier for the ps5 just so i dont have to collect physical media but i really dislike buying digital games. 😭
ОтветитьI buy physical and digital
ОтветитьOne thing to know is digital stay the same price unless some kind of specail discount is there but for physical it usually goes down for price and buying pre owned lowers that price as well
ОтветитьI don't want to display them.
ОтветитьI have 2 ps5
At home I play with discs
Lots of space for dics
On the job as a truck driver when there are waiting hours or during breaks or when your day is finished and stay in truck I prefer then digital games because of lack of room and storage
The games need the system so if u wanna just save games with no console they just don't last forever
ОтветитьI keep physical only for old games like mega drives, ps1 ect..I want to sell my ps3 and ps4 games because I hate to have too many things!! I honestly don't like to have rooms full of games!!
About digital only I don't get why is more expencive than physical
What about hard drive space? Will it take the same physical and digital?
ОтветитьSo i have a question. I really wanted madden 25 on digital but they only have the deluxe edition which is 100 bucks. Physical standard edition is only 70 bucks plus tax. Same with ncaa 25. I’ve been to lazy to put my physical games in my ps5 console& want to start buying more digital copies. Just makes it more easier. What should i do? Love the video btw!!
ОтветитьHi TVM I haven't seen any of your videos lately, I always enjoyed watching them!😊
ОтветитьWith the PS5 I've been all digital until I recently bought a Switch and several physical games for it like BOTW and Mario Kart 8. That made me nostalgic and inspired me to double dip and get physical copies of my favorite games from the PS4/PS5 generation. Games like Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Disco Elysium, Elden Ring, GTA V, NFS Hot Pursuit, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition just to name a few. I even bought the $100 physical edition of Baldur's Gate 3. My wallet is hating me but it's comforting to know that I have physical versions of my favorite games to fall back on just in case. This all digital future where we're all paying for licenses and don't really own anything is kind of terrifying to think about.
ОтветитьPhysical always....
ОтветитьFc 25 I don’t know what do I like when I cop it they send me a download code love it
ОтветитьI only have digital games
ОтветитьI have over 40 digital games on my Xbox one s
ОтветитьDigital will never beat physical games or even books, in my opinion. When you buy a digital game, you don’t own it. Physical games for life.
ОтветитьIs it true that physical games are cheaper than digital ones?
Ответитьbuy whatever the fuck you want
ОтветитьIs there a difference in the gameplay when you purchase a digital, and not a disk, or are they completely the same?
ОтветитьA digital only future will be anti consumer.
ОтветитьI prefer digital games but rather have disc instead
ОтветитьPersonally I like both now sometimes they are game sales only available digitally especially for older unplayed titles, like mentioned in the video you could trade with a friend or get store credit. Sometimes like the disc version even with the Nintendo switch cartridge you don't get the full game you still got to download a big chunk it all depends on how much storage you have built in and the external storage hard drive if equipped
ОтветитьI just lost all my digital games after years of having them. Any mistake and they are gone. Physical are better
ОтветитьWent to this video to see if i should get the rest of my Nintendo switch games (I'm saying rest since i already brought some games from the shop already.)
Like at the same time nothing beats putting in a gamecard/disk into a console after a stressful day/ or just want to relax playing games
but then on the other side i really don't feel like making room for the small space in my room (at least for the cases, since ill probably put the game cards in those little 80 game holder storage boxes)
I may get physical though, since i see a lot of games that interest me on sale via eBay and GameStop.. if i don't like the game i can always return it or sell it, plus i do like the thought of having a little game library/ or a small game portfolio that i can carry around.
i do like digital especially when it comes to smaller handhelds (3DS, PS Vita) or if said game is digital only.
or do a mix of both. (for example, ill get pokemon sword physically, then get shield digitally.)
Bro you didn’t talk about the price of the two which is cheaper
