🙋 Kevin, In noodle shop:-
The red one is "tsai po"→Chinese style homemade spicy preserved radish, mainly ingredients are radish eith chilli.
The green one I guess is "tung tsai" →Tianjin style preserved vegetables, the taste is salty.
The square one is not Tofu, it should be“cha lua”→pork sausage just like Vietnamese pork sausages.
Good but I wonder why you know so many places in hk!😂
ОтветитьYour tech shopping in hk is so good👍👍
ОтветитьHi there. I think the "fatty stuff" in your noodles is beef tendon. Usually in Hong Kong, when you order beef brisket, it comes with a small amount of beef tendon. However, some restaurants allow you to order them separately, such as beef tendon noodles or beef brisket noodles. Beef tendon is one of my favorite food, yum 😋
ОтветитьI searched for the T7 Shield price and found it being sold for only US$95 for 1TB on a Hong Kong website.
ОтветитьI truly love and enjoy watching your videos about your journey in Hong Kong. I always look forward to your next upload — keep up the amazing work!❤
ОтветитьYou left the beef tendon which is very tasty and good for skin in the bowl
ОтветитьWill you go to Ocean Park?
Ответить🙋Kevin, right! Preserved vegetable is making by cabbage but not the round one. It's long one which Korean use that to making cabbage kimchi.😊
ОтветитьYou should go Sam shui Po (Golden computer arcade ) 😅instead of Mong Kok.
ОтветитьYou should visit Wanchai Computer Centre! A lot of shops at Mongkok Computer Centre have closed after covid
ОтветитьDiscount could be found on Women Street, Temple Street, but not for tech stores. For competition, their price are low and fixed.
ОтветитьThe piece of meat that you thought was tofu- it looks like a piece of fish cake to me. Also, the bit of beef that you didn't eat- I think it's beef tendon instead of fat :)
ОтветитьYou're awesome, you shop like a local 😄
ОтветитьNice to see some chill content in hk as a local! You visited some of most local spots in hk lmaoo not many foreigners know these places
ОтветитьLocals go to Sham Shui Po (SSP) for techs stuff, u can find almost everything in these two shopping centres, Golden Computer Centre and Arcade, very concentrated. For clothing, shoes stuff like that go to Mongkok (MK). Not locals enough, stay longer😊just kidding.
ОтветитьSim city camera shop selling new and used camera. Those put ont the glass shelf is used 2nd hand. So price is so low compare to what's new😆
ОтветитьOmggg u just passed by the Golden Computer Arcade at Sham Shui Po🤣🤣🤣 it’s a famous and popular for the locals ~ hopefully u could visit some day 🎉 and amazing that u shopped at smart trendy shop at 38 plaza 😂 so local
ОтветитьI think it would be better to conduct the tech hunt in Sham Shui Po rather than in Mong Kok, especially since you ended up going to Sham Shui Po for dinner after all. 😂
ОтветитьThe "fatty" stuff is actually beef tendon. The texture is fatty like but it's actually collagen and mostly protein. I believe condiments were preserved radish with chili
ОтветитьHave you been to the south side of HK island? Try going to Shak O, Stanley, Repulse Bay, etc, very peaceful and beautiful.
ОтветитьHong Kong has a low-tax on imported product, so most products are cheaper than other countries.
ОтветитьThis is the restaurant where I have breakfast every morning.
ОтветитьBetter go to Sham Sui Po Golden Computer center.
ОтветитьKevin...You're so smart at tech shopping in Hong kong. It seems you know a good shops that sells thing at low price with good quality .That's really good for a tourist like you..happy shopping 🛒🛒🛒
Ответить阿邊個😂少少冇禮貌
ОтветитьSometimes after living here in Hong Kong for over 15 years since I moved back after I studied in Canada for most of my life till 2009, I realize one thing that whenever you're looking for a particular item, if it's not available, then it means the stocks are out completely, so the next cargo container into Hong Kong is in pending and you should just not get it until the problem is resolved. What I mean is, you found a way to fix it, but it wasn't what you originally wanted although it works, so when the next time you are searching for the newest item, it's going to feel less new (if you know what I mean). Furthermore, Hong Kong is one of the fastest pace cities in the world, and sometimes it's not about "people" that are fast, but rather the way things go from zero to a 100. If something is popular, you can bet there will be a trend, and vice versa. Thats what makes Hong Kong the way it is with a system in which imports and exports are both synchronized. But lets talk about economy on another day.
ОтветитьThank you for your share❤
That’s not tofu — it’s actually Zha Yuk, a kind of steamed pork.😂Zha Yuk is a Braised Pork Wrapped in Beancurd Skin.
Go to Shenzhen, China next stop. Whee is very close to Hong Kong. You can go via train
ОтветитьTry Citymapper, it gets even better than Google when you travel in HK.
ОтветитьKelvin, you are a very patience man. I am you were able to find the cable. I enjoy watching your videos, because your videos are very low key comparing to the other travel videos.
ОтветитьHKTVmall is a good online platform for stuff. Used them a few times and prices seems reasonable. Lots of choice regarding delivery; click and collect in shopping malls etc
ОтветитьRe: your noodles and what you thought was tofu. It looks like 'yiu dan' to me (similar to fish ball but of the square variety)
ОтветитьKevin! If still in Hong Kong. Can you visit the 'Fuji building' , causeway bay , wan chai.
ОтветитьBetter go to Sham Sui Po Golden Computer center, all in one place🐱
ОтветитьIf you visit Sham Shui Po, I recommend checking out Golden Computer Arcade and Golden Shopping Centre—great places to explore for all kinds of tech products. You’ll also find SSP outlet in the area with cheaper tech items, though I wouldn’t really advise buying electronics there. Still, there are tons of interesting things to browse.
As for the thing in your noodles—it’s not tofu. It looks more like a fishcake, and that gooey part with the rich texture? That’s beef tendon, full of collagen.
When you said, "very delicious" at the restaurant the lady said, "don't understand".
ОтветитьMaybe you can go for better bargains in Shamshuipo. If you want higher quality, you can try going to Southorn Centre in Wanchai.
Most of the waitress working in Hong Kong restaurant are from mainland so you can talk to them in either Cantonese or mandarin. And sham shui po is said to be the poorest district in hong Kong but the property there is not cheap either and are a lot to explore👍 btw, that’s not a fat, but a beef tendon with lot of collagen good for your skin😂
ОтветитьIts not fat, its beef tedon
ОтветитьHello, you went to sham shi po and have the home made noodles the one is called fishcake which you have no idea what it is.
Ответитьthe noodle shop。you ate that not tofu which is yufu it made with fish
Ответить
