How about this
When a race is OVER, you take a shot for whatever place you finish in.
first place gets 1 shot,
Second gets 2
3rd gets 3
4th gets 4.

Then in the next race, Reverse it.
1st gets 4 shots
and so on....

We just got back from an incredible vacation in Ireland. We absolutely fell in love with your beautiful country and have never encountered such genuinely friendly people.
