Father Spyridon I've learned that suffering is the Bridge to Freedom. We are Debtors of our Sins. If it were easy we would just fall back into Sin. The devil tries to tell us that this is not possible,but that's what he does is deceive the World. Thank you Father Spyridon for speaking today about Living according to the Lords Prayer.

A lot a trouble fell on me when I truly understood 'And lead us not into temptation' because I also understood it was my greatest weakness.

Those who have sinned, they're slaves of demons,but those who have true repentance and turn to Christ God will be free from slavery.

I think Lord's Prayer is closely related to teaching to make donations in secret. For God it's most valuable what a man has inside his soul. Because deeds made in open may be motivated by interest in public visibility.

Father thank you for sharing this! Before I go to bed, or before I say good night to my children, we always end the day with Orthodox Child's Evening Prayer. Lord, Jesus Christ, You received the children who came to You. Receive also from Your child this evening prayer. Shelter me under the protection of Your wings that I may lie down in peace and sleep. Awaken me in due time that I may glorify You, for You alone are good and love all people.

Into Your hands, O Lord Jesus Christ, I commend my spirit and body; bless me, save me, and grant me eternal life.

The Father is my hope, the Son is my refuge, the Holy Spirit is my shelter. Holy Trinity, glory to You. Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me.

Although it is meant as a prayer that young children should say, as a child of God, and an old adult, it is a prayer I hold very close to my heart.
