Loved this!! I've always thought that Hollywood really must hate San Francisco, given how many times they've destroyed it!
ОтветитьLoved the video Joey! As another honorable mention, I would like to add X-men last stand when magneto lifts the Golden Gate Bridge and uses it to connect to connect sf and Alcatraz 😆
ОтветитьSo what I want to know is....
Is your hairdresser in your old neighborhood still there and how much does a haircut cost?
I am totally against any type of destructive filming in the city, they could very easily film this on a studio lot, it's senseless to risk close-nit nieghborhoods just for a scene in a film. I have to say, I am not a fan of destruction-disaster movies at all. I don't like to give my attention to anything like that, especially about a city I love. so this video is not my favorite of yours, all the rest are top notch and creative.
ОтветитьJust subscribed, Joey. Lived in the City 1970-89. Saw your clip about the trees in GGPark. Miss the climate and diversity. Wish you a lot of success!
ОтветитьI would have included "It Came From Beneath the Sea"
ОтветитьThis guy sounds like Kermit the frog..
ОтветитьWhat about 'The Room' ? That movie destroyed everything it touched.
Ответитьmost unrealistic part: the population of SF increasing by that much
Ответитьnice son
ОтветитьThe city started many fires trying to stop fires. Well we no how that turned out.
ОтветитьI’m not sure you have seen the movie What’s Up Doc but while it’s not a disaster movie… it’s a comedy but towards the end chase scene did cause damage to the concrete stairs at Alta Plaza park in Pacific Heights which you can still see today. Bunch of cars driving down those steps and didn’t have a permit to film that.
ОтветитьSF gets destroyed in movies so often it got its own ranking vid and it didn't even name all the movies, hahaha. One that made me cry was the second Antman movie where they destroy a lot of the roads including Lombard
ОтветитьLove this, Joey. Saw it right after you made it, and it's fun to see it again. Good to see you again, too. Last I heard, you had left San Francisco, so where are you now, and what have you been doing? I hear rents are down, so maybe you have come back. -- charlie, sacramento
