The Ultimate HALLOWEEN Cocktail - The ZOMBIE!

Will ask my wife to make me one tomorrow.

I do the 1964 Aku Aku bar Zombie recipe. The ratios are more straightforward and a bunch of the fiddlier ingredients are combined into "Don's Zombie Mix":

3/4 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz white grapefruit juice
3/4 oz cinnamon syrup
3/4 oz dark jamaican rum
3/4 oz gold puerto rican rum
3/4 oz 151-proof demerara rum
1/2 tsp Zombie Mix
1 dash Angostura bitters

Zombie Mix: 1 part each Pernod (or absinthe), orange curaçao, falernum, and grenadine. There's enough alcohol in the mix that it shouldn't spoil.

One of my all-time favorites! But yes, if you make if full strength it's quite dangerous.

Is there really that much difference in the three types of rum? Would it be that different if all the same rum was used?
