Is it still possible to bend the heatbreak doing this? Had this happen on my mk3s, despite following all the instructions, heating it up first etc - nozzle was just really stuck in the heat block.
Been too scared to change the nozzle again ever since.
Good tool now I need MK4
ОтветитьKdy bude možné si zakoupit Enclosure na PRUSA XL ????
ОтветитьDoes this work that fast with the nozzle adapter as well?
ОтветитьVery cool, when will we see a MK4S?
Ответитьbring phase stepping on mk4 and you got my money.
ОтветитьThis is the single biggest reason I enfy the mk4 swapping nozzles is such a chore and not risk free, on previous printers.
ОтветитьOk, I just bought a second heatblock, heater and thermistor and just swap the whole assembly …..
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьIt will be the same process in the 3.9, right?
ОтветитьWhen will it be possible to purchase the enclosure for the PRUSA XL?
Ответитьa million times easier than with the Mini :-l
ОтветитьThe tool works great, so much better than the original method of removing the entire hotend assy!
ОтветитьNow make it easy for the XL
ОтветитьNow do the XL
ОтветитьGreat! Now please do one for nozzles with the v6 adapter. I have a diamondback on there so my nozzle does not wear out easily
ОтветитьThese nozzle replacement tools for the MK4 and XL are great.
ОтветитьI still don't get why they went for such a rather complicated hotend design. If I could I'd still go for something like a mosquito hotend where the heater block is fixed via bolts and you can just change the nozzle with one single tool. Or at least I'd make the whole heater block assembly swappable with a quick-release lever and some integrated connectors (without the fiddling with the cables).
Ответитьso great will print this. I wish the XL had thumbscrews also
ОтветитьI like it a lot! I have tried different nozzles and the 0.4 fits almost every use case. But with this fast method I still frequently change it. 0.8 for drafts and 0.25 for letters which need details.
ОтветитьPlease, Prusa, it’s time to elevate your game! While other printers allow for a full hotend change with no tools whatsoever, your innovation involves a jig and a tool? Can you not perceive the widening chasm between your company and those challenging your market position? You’re coasting on your past reputation, but it’s deteriorating rapidly.
ОтветитьThis was a big dilemma for me. I didn't want to upgrade to the MK4 because I would lose my Revo hot swap nozzles. This is so much more work.
ОтветитьLeider nur möglich, wenn das Hotend nach dem Filament sich nach den Entladen wieder abgekühlt hat, da sonst das Tool schmilzt. Ansonsten gute Idee. Bei mir geht das Tool noch etwas straff.
ОтветитьHeat up, remove filament, cool down, then apply tool & switch nozzle. Yeah, seconds, but quite a lot of them? Or was there a step I missed?
ОтветитьConsidering the hot swappable methods that exist today, switching nozzles using tools is not a selling point. When people say "do something in seconds", that means around 5, max 10 seconds. That swap takes half a minute to a minute. It's worse on the BL X1C, though.
ОтветитьMake it tool less and do better.
ОтветитьAmazing!
With the MK4 was already easier and faster change the nozzle, but now is like ... wow!😮
Not really sure how this compares to doing it without 🤔🤷🏿♀️
ОтветитьJust used today for the first time! Excellent!
ОтветитьHUGELY Overpriced archaic rubbish. Bit like Ultimaker. Now there's a new kid on the block. Bambu labs! Up your game, lower your stupid prices Prusa. Times are a changing
ОтветитьIts 2024 and you still hang the spool at the highest point on the printer? How much does that toolhead complete even weight? All markers that make it clear speed isnt something its good at. Bunch of old tech.
ОтветитьThe sad thing is that there is not another design for hotends with socks
ОтветитьScrews? Special tool? My a1 lets me swao out a hotend nozzle with a magnet and it actually takes seconds and is way easier.
ОтветитьIt should probably be mentioned that the heater block MUST ENTIRELY COOL DOWN after removing the filament (STEP 1) and before applying the tool (STEP 2). I did not since the video didn't mention it, so my tool fused melted with my heater block. FUN. Needed to disassemble the whole hotend to fix and damage the heater block surface with a screwdriver to remove the PETG.
Ответитьhad te remove the customized air intake and the nozzle was dirty (old 0.4) replaced it with 0.6 but thankfull for this nice short video.
ОтветитьGot the new nozzle in the mail, but now I need to get a friend to print the tool? Could I change out the nozzle without tool?
Ответить>> doesnt show what the nozzle replacement tool looks like
m8 the prusa mk4 kit comes with a lot of parts already pls show what this looks like to save us all a google search
