You didn't talked about the night vision, from other reviewer C200 only B&W, while C300 can be Full Colour, not sure with C400.

I've just bought Mi Camera C200, when I added it into Mi home app and use the surveillance camera function, it said "Free service reminder. New users will get three months' free video recording of events. The service expires on 09/10/2024, after which surveillance videos will no longer be recorded." I wonder that the video can still be recorded in the SD card? Thanks in advance.

First of all, congrats for yout Excelent video. I have a problem maybe you or someone can help me: I bought a Xiaomi camera C300. The problem is the camera keeps recording all the time (continuous recording, loop recordin) making clips of 1minute each for 24 hours a day…I would like to change it so it records only when movement/events happen. The option of Home Monitoring is OFF, and even with the option OFF the Camera continuous recording. I want to stop record. I want to stop detecting movements. The problem is, I choose the option OFF (not monitoring, not detect nothing, and the Camera still recording....Can someone help me with this (the firmware is updated - 5.1.6_1066). Thank you

Does the video livestream into Echo Show? I have been looking around and the Xiaomi website talks about voice control, but it is not clear if the videos can be seen on an Echo device... Would you be able to confirm this? Thanks in advance! I have seen "compatible with Alexa" in the past and not all functionalities where made available...

Thanks for the review. I'm undecided between a eufy and the latest xiaomi c400 (or is there gonna come out a new one soon?)
My only doubt is : i already have Mi home app and I don't wanna download another app, and I've heard eufy cam on Apple Homekit has its limitations so you have to use the eufy app anyway.
From your tests what do you suggest? is it worth buying the latest xiaomi camera?

Switching between wifi connections is a bit tricky or trial and usually errors. Sometimes i wonder how i ever het reconnected after so many resets and re-pairings and delete / add device.

What steps to make as a sure way to switch between wifi connections for the device? I have a c200 and a c400 and both confuse me when i switch networks (either locations or networks)

You say "they send notification when motion is detected". But I want a series of still images (over a few seconds) to be sent - to email or the xiomi app is fine - after motion is detected. I don't need / want to pay for cloud. This is for checking WHO has entered my room in shared rented house.images must be sent out of device, because after illegal entry the device could be unplugged / sf card or camera destroyed. 😊 if anyone knows the name of the function I require , would be useful. Having problems searching for exactly what I need

File bumping to NAS is not supported on C400. C300 is able to save files onto your local NAS.
