This ought to be fun
ОтветитьAyyyy
Ответитьtamar is obviously the best
ОтветитьPlease play crusader kings iii
ОтветитьHow many times I have to teach you this lesson old man...
Stepwells and all them amenities help Gandi grow HUGE cities to be able to comfortably get all follower beliefs packed in there. You only need ONE charge to get an amenity AND power up your holy site. With +2 charges, and extra lil early faith, he can quickly ramp up amenities and beliefs early game.
You need to go out and AGGRESSIVELY bring religions back to your empire. Once you secure a religion you can safely wipe it out the map.
Good In science victory. It's the only civ that grow wide AND tall
Is it me or the Khmer and Russia the type of civ that when u pick them u just,
WIN.
this may be unrelated but I like to play civ with the only victory types set to diplomatic and domination. It creates a little scenario for me, a warmonger vs a pacifist
ОтветитьNew challenge: English Eleanor Archipelago Sea Dog only Domination rush on Deity.
ОтветитьCiv life ✊🏽✊🏽
ОтветитьHy!
I have played a great science victory on this map seed, on a spawn whit 2 geysers, sometimes you should reroll to get the right spawn.
Map seed: 1028915159
I want to see your reaction CivLifer. :)
"you're not going to have production for them (chariot archers)"
Magnus chops: am I a joke to you?
They come at the PERFECT time for a quick rush with chops. They hit the sweet spot where you can one turn chop them out really quickly without wasting production due to overflow being yeeted out of existence.
Cant wait for Putin to be a leader in a Civ game. His leader bonus can be + attack and diplomatic points when America isnt in the game or is one Age beneath Russia.
ОтветитьDamn
ОтветитьI really don't like this sitting-on-the-high-horse-telling-everyone-what-is-right-and-what-is-not. Lack of respect. You can play this game in more ways than you do. Tiresome.
unsubscribed
The worst is venice, 2nd worst is iroquois, 3rd worst is portugal.
ОтветитьYou're so playing English Eleanor wrong. The immense gold you get from the dockyard can be used to purchase great works from the AI, Workshop of the world drastically increases that money once you get your cities powered, and the free naval units can take a coastal city on another continent, getting your foot through the door to get Court of Love going. Check out Ursa Ryan's play through with her, it's actually insane what she can do, when you know what to do and is easily a top 5 civ.
ОтветитьSomething that speaks to how bad Tamar is how much they were buffed in BBG and they still dont get played (100% of cs in faith, so one speamen means a pantheon, and pantheons are bugged in bbg, and their unique wall is an ancient wall and better, so you can go gm's chapel and spam out units
ОтветитьBabylon is going to be #1 Im guessing, with Russia, byzantium and the gauls being in the top 5
ОтветитьGorgo has a really good rush at fascism since they get it very early, so a fascism bombarb rush is a thing
ОтветитьDido is a really good defensive naval civ, but you are never defending naval battles unless you are dead. At least they get settler production and can use the continent cards in the mid game by settling on another continent and chopping out their project
ОтветитьReading up on Phoenicia, I don't understand the benefits of changing your capital cities. Is there a bonus?
ОтветитьMost people play on small maps? I only play on huge. Am I this out of touch?
ОтветитьTitle could’ve said part one or something, saying that you’re ranking EVERY leader when you’re doing less than 20 is misleading. Also you’re saying “in all honestly” every two rankings. That said I think your rankings are fair
ОтветитьGeorgia sucks? Challenge accepted.
ОтветитьI think Kongo should have been in this part of the list. They can only play for culture, and even that they are kinda meh at.
ОтветитьDido is really good in my opinion, her ability to found new cities can be very useful and she should be higher
ОтветитьI love playing gorgo 😞…otherwise i love ur picks👍
Ответитьcan't wait for part 2!!
Ответитьgorgo with fascism is OP. She can beeline that with her culture from kills and easy theater squares. From there you basically conquer the world with overpowered musketmen. Id put her higher
Ответитьsolid video! do u have any base game videos? i dont have any of the dlcs, nor mods (console player)
ОтветитьI sometimes turn off Sience Victory because always on a deity game if im not Fast enough rushing Sience the KI wins
ОтветитьFrench Eleanor is ideal to play. English Eleanor is ideal to play against and then lose your mind trying to style your hair like hers. (I haven't tried yet. Anyone in the Civ community willing to do an English Eleanor hair tutorial? All I know is it will involve hair braiding and a flower crown.
ОтветитьTwo mods that help 2 of these civs. 1, Truly abundant recourses for Montezuma. I played a game where I set the recourses to truly abundant, and almost won by a domination... If I didn't win by a culture victory.
2, immigrant goody good huts for Gilgamesh. The purpose of this mod is that tribal villages will spawn after every era. This helps makes Gilgamesh's ability actually useable after turn 75.
These are the two mods that came to my head when it came to buffing them.
Bonus one, Egypt's Nile mod. This one outright buffs Egypt to give desert floodplain farms more food. When I played it, I noticed a slight increase with food. I feel that the problem with some of the more growth-food based civilizations is that they get a ton of population, but overtime, they can't really do much with it. Enter, production from population. Basically, the communism government without the governors requirement. You get 0.6 production from every citizen. (May as well throw in the Immigration mod in there along with it as well.)
I lurk the CIV VI mod place a little too much.
Honestly, Cleo is great for an early rush IF you happen to settle your first or second city in a high production spot. Otherwise, they just take too much time to build. Honestly, making them the same production cost as archers would likely make them too OP though, so no idea how you'd improve her maryanu chariot archers.
ОтветитьPart2?
Ответить"Royal Naval Dockyard is absolutely useless" hahaha what a joke!
ОтветитьI would rate Gorgo at number one spot by far with no rivals but I only play deity marathon games. Her kit is just perfect. Early you get the extra policy slot which lets you get a religion or at least a good pantheon fast.
The culture from kills is better at slower speeds, giving you 30 per warrior killed and deity AIs build a lot of warriors. Every military card you use also makes your army stronger and the culture helps you get bigger governments faster. If I focus army and holy sites early, then commercial or harbors to pay for the army and constantly stay at war, killing everything I can, free city units, enemy armies, barbarians, it lets me ignore acropolises until late mid game.
Gorgo can then world police(look for reasons to start wars and then pillage them and kill all their units) and go for any victory really. You don't have to take enemy cities, just pillaging and killing all the enemy units pays for itself and denies the other civs their victory.
As for the hoplites, they're also amazing on marathon. They'll last long enough to be useful, are super cheap and don't need iron. I can usually churn them out from the capitol every 5-8 turns even at that speed and they can stand toe to toe with enemy swordmen as well as are quite good at taking cities with a battering ram.
I died at the Mansa Musa custom t-shirt LMAO xD
ОтветитьI would like to have a visual on where you place them in ranking ;)
ОтветитьKupe is severely underrated here. You get a tonne of science at the start of the game with shipbuilding and sailing researches, and you get extra production and food from woods/jungle and fishing boats respectively. Given you can choose your start location (so no need to re-roll) kupe is the god every time
ОтветитьYou have to remember that there are Late game CIvs(the US in particular) and Early Game civs(Greece and Rome) comparing them 1 to 1 misses the point.
ОтветитьMan you were unfair to kublai khan here. Its true that he is overshadowed by the mongolian one and I think you underestimated him because of that. But extra economic slot and chinas abilities are for sure more useful than several people above him like gandhi tamar or jadwiga.
ОтветитьThere's some synergy with England and Eleanor's abilities. With the royal navy dockyard you don't have to worry about expanding to a new continent that's close to a different civ since it produces loyalty, combine it with an old God obelisk which also has a great work slot and you'll have a city that's forever faithful to you. What I tend to do is bait the AI who has a few costal cities into declaring war, pin point a city that has at least a harbor or monument (if a city has both I'm gunning right for it), capture it, the harbor automatically becomes a royal navy dockyard and the monument an obelisk, go for peace, build an amphitheater, move my great works to the city and just watch things snowball as the rest of the Ai civs cities loyalty flip to me
ОтветитьT'zars?
