My dad was in the South Pacific during WWII he was injured and didn’t report it because back then if you just got a small wound and told people then you were chicken. He was hit with shrapnel during an invasion. He just lived with it till his body pushed it out. He cleaned the wound and bandage it never to talk about again until I came home from Iraq. He said he didn’t want that medal because it’s for the men who really got hurt.

This salesman at a car dealership outside of Dallas came up to me as I looked for a new car and right away, began telling me he was a Navy Seal.
It set off warning flags, because Navy Seals probably dont feel so insecure that they need to tell a stranger that right away.
I watch these videos in hopes of seeing thay guy being exposed. 😊😮😊

Alert; Tim Waltz ran for the VP position with Kamala Harris, he lied about his rank and the carrying of weapons of war in the battlefield !
In my view, he did not receive the repercussions of those terrible lies heard on Main Stream Media and across the USA while canvassing in a Presidential campaign !
He lied about Being a Football Coach when in fact, he was only an assistant coach !
He deserves to be admonished publicly.

When I worked on a VA psych unit, we had a veteran receiving treatment for mental health/PTSD. One day, someone asked the right question, and there was an investigation and eventually it was found out that he not only was not entitled to VA benefits, but was NEVER in the military.

I know someone who bought an old army jacket and it has patches on it... people who don't know her (she claims she's trans but I still call her HER bc she doesn't deserve respect) or know the difference will thank her for her service. She's never served. She's never even had a job! I called her out and messaged the people on FB and IG that thanked her for her service and especially the ones she responded to and exposed her lying ass!! She was fuming and blocked me 😂

Spent 16 years in, the last 10 in the USMC, and I am proud of that. Never had the chance to be deployed because of an injury that happened just as the 'Sandbox' was gearing up. The people I meet, who have military backgrounds always give me pause. Anytime I hear someone claiming combat experience, I take a mental step back. "Is it real?" Met so many who claim service, yet know nothing of the actual Corps. None of these fakes claim to be a cook or company clerk, or even a driver. They all claim to be Seals or Recon.... those are the ones that I take a second look at.

And those few who sacrificed themselves for others. A medal does not make the man his actions do.🇺🇸💪justavet

According to my DD214 , I am a Viet Nam Veteran . Ten months , and twenty-seven days . But , because of the Sullivan Act , I was forbidden to serve in a "hostile fire zone". Because of this , I was sent to Thailand .
Because I did not serve "in country" , there are some people, including some at the VA , that feel that I am NOT a true Viet Nam Veteran .
Therefor , when I am questioned about my service , I say that I served , but I do not tell anyone that I was overseas .
It has become a sticking point in my life that still bothers me to this day .

I don’t understand how the VA can award a service connected disability to someone without a DD14 and without a compensation and pension examination. I worked 15 years at the VA and have participated in compensation and pension exams. There is written evidence regarding the service specifics and it’s very difficult to fake. I don’t understand how the fakes were even awarded a VA pension unless someone at the VA was not doing their job. It’s not just fraud but taxpayer money that is being wasted. In addition, I have seen people employed by the VA actively wasting taxpayer money by not using the funds for true Veterans.

When military disasters occur, governments distrubute medals to reduce the impact on the public. In some cases, the events did not happen as reported. The opposite also happens.
Military who perform outstanding service do not receive recognition. Sometimes friends have to fight for years in order for their relative's outstanding service recognized.

I remember when I took my dad to the wall when it first was finished. He was a lifer marine serving in Korea and 3 tours in Vietnam. I had never seen my dad breakdown until he went down the wall and found one of his buddies. He recently died at age 92 and since that day I never saw him show such emotion. These people who lie about serving are a disgrace.

I’m a 20 year vet and couldn’t care less what other people do. So many awards are misrepresented and given frivolously it really doesn’t matter. Colonels can get a silver star unless a certain number of his subordinates get the same level awards. That’s how an Air Traffic control female Soldier gets a bronze star and never even stepped outside the wire. It’s all a Joke, just read David Hackworth’s book “About Face”. You guys aren’t saving the world by doing this.

I'm a Marine Vietnam Vet but was never in combat but I served and supported those that were. After I retired from my local police department I took a job delivering medicine from one of the local drug store chains. This idiot came in the store and was telling people he was in the Marine Corps Special Forces in Vietnam and that his job was to go into North Vietnam and rescue POWs. First off he didn't look old enough to have served in Vietnam and second every Marine knows we don't have a special forces we have Recon and third there never was a successful POW rescue but a failed one as the POWS weren't at the prison camp the army raided. He looked half retarded so I just let it go but it still pissed me off.
