Think i'll restart my recent Roma DEI campaign and actually use Roman Battlefield tactics instead of my usual Long line

Pyrrhus was a fantastic tactician on the battlefield but a terrible strategist off of it. He made the Romans bleed but was one of the first to see that they wouldn't accept defeat.

just wondering if you use any submods for DEI like 4tpy or reduced unit cost and if so whats the load order great vid got me playing rome 2 again instead of the calssic shogun 2

Sorry for another comment about Pyrrhus mate lol but I'd recommend the King's and Generals episode on him, it's all parts about him put together and it shows he was an absolute Mad Lad (Alexander's cousin too). It would be cool to see you play him and Epirus one day.

this mod is pretty hard compared to other mods, i failed 3 games already lol

My favorite faction to play as in Rome 2 is Athens. And I try to get my slaves to 0% in each Provence.
2nd favorite Egypt. Where I try to enslave everybody all the time no matter what lol

Do you have to buy the full game for 60 quid to use this mod?

For the first time I watch someone who's correctly saying "Divide et Impera" - salute!

This game is dope, Probly my favorite, I've never played 40k, Atilla had way better battle engine, better animations, especially Pokémon. 3 kingdoms is ok not into Troy, too much fantasy. DEI Like darthmod for Empire, is keeping this game alive for me, even have a game going currently,

A hint, On my rome games, I capture Tarentum, sorry, Brindisum, by turn 3,or 4, Grab mercs, use both armies, and play the siege. Then, consolidate, and get ready for a Italian sneak. Good start.

Are these graphics based off computer parts or does dei habe better graphics then the orginial game?

What do yoh mean Hard and Very Hard breaks the game? I play on hard and I didnt notice any problems.

Julia are the best IMO because of the +4 romanization. Makes expansion quicker. The 10% agri you took is worthless since all money comes from commerce and trade

Thanks for re-igniting my interest in RTW - just started a save after 1-2 years of not playing.

I just started playing and always play on legendary. Started on legendary got wrecked, very hard the same. I deleted the mods thinking it wasn't balanced but I guess it is designed for Normal difficulty. Going to try again

"if you chose legendary difficulty it will break the game".... not at all... it's just harder. I tried DEI, and on Normal diffculty it offers almost no challenge (I never lost a battle). It's more interesting than Vanilla for sure, but Normal is too easy

LegendOfTotalwar does a playthrough of DEI on legendary difficulty but he just spammed trash armies and auto resolved everything. It was boring as fuk...I was hoping to find a proper let's play on legendary. I guess it's not that one

What submods do you use for DEI?

I have a pretty strong aversion to Pyrrhus of Epirus. An opportunistic little prick, who learned his place eventually. I have no idea why I'm so vehement against him, probably too much time studying Latin. Boy the Romans hated him.

Us far us I know Hastati and Principe they had swords so why do we see them in this mod with spears??

With Rome infinity with spirits and storage are great but you would really need to Calvary units to win the battle archers are great but one of the other cav or archers. Cav units or archers of the secondary. Try not to mix all three in the same army or yes you will have do a lot more micromanaging. Do heavy on the infantry and yes Keep about five units of your secondary. if you're willing to try and give them a horse sandwich. Smash Calvary units in on their side have your heavy cavalry engaged with them in combat and have one or two of the lighter ones Frank can go around the side and smash them in the rear or the side simultaneously you get a maximum effect you'll have a route real quick

ROTR DEI is the best campaign Ive played. Took me like 40 turns just to get a foothold but was able to break the game at turn 65 or there about once I started depopulating my armies and turtling it made diplomacy too easy I was buying everyone. But the first 20-30 turns were crazy lost 2/3 of my Generals and eventually had to pass the crown onto my nephew great mod
