Very impressive work. I'm quite surprised it works as well as it does given the difference in capabilities between the two systems! You may be interested in researching the VGM file format, as that covers the SN79489 PSG and there's a lot of video game music out there for that. This chip has three square wave tone channels and one noise channel, so may convert quite nicely. If you look on my site there's a tool to convert VGMs to MIDI sequences that may be an interesting starting point.

Can you send me the actual TI-Connect program of the songs? Because I can't compile the source of the Zelda .mid that I parsed.
