Unrealistic: you're in Illinois, cops should be only using tazers!

The one about them calling the police if an NPC shoots you is kinda bs ngl. I've been shot at by criminals while chasing them and yet I'm the one who gets the police after me for trying to stop a criminal. I've died before I've even caught them because of that

This game engine and city would be great for a cop game. Just bring the gear customizations from Wildlands or breakpoint in and we're good

Annoying thing in wd2 is police may usually drive past your hiding spot, and if you have no cover they may see you. Once I hid in some weird kind of dam, and it was in a neighbourhood below the roads. Police drove straight down there in search mode
Luckily I lost them before they noticed me.

Wd1 has better quality and graphics than wd2

I’m at a vigilante level in watch dogs and I also make sure to not decrease my reputation in watch dogs

I know I'm late to the comments, but personally it would have been really cool to see more variations of police, like the Illinois State Police (or Highway Police) in Pawnee, and the FBI in their black SUVs

At least in this game the police siren lights actually REFLECT on the enviroment like in real life. Unlike so many other open world games with police systems...

This game does allow for some good old fashioned police chases, no cops shooting from cars or on the streets like in so many games.
It does give me those Driver 2 vibes, especially that it takes place in Chicago.

I was more scared of the Enforcer in WD than the Enforcer in WD2 because of that radio static-voice.

What's so crazy, I own Watch Dog's 2&3 and never played part 1🤔 I can see how good Watchdogs 1 is detailed. I'm going to purchase it this week.

Currently playing WD while watching this. Something to note down is that when you have the police chopper in you, if you drive into a train tunnel, the chopper will wait for you in the other side of the tunnel. It just happened to me as I'm typing this.

Another issue: helicopter sniper literally hits every shot

In Act II, the police don't try to arrest you

Holy shit YES!!! The police AI is sooo good in some areas, but absolutely mental in others. I swear I see a crime happening where somebody is robbing someone's money and that npc is shooting with a pistol, clearly nearby civilians will report to police. You want to go after the shooting thief, but then police comes after YOU. EVEN THOUGH THEY JUST PASSED THE THIEF THAT WAS SHOOTING AT ME. I DON'T EVEN HAVE FIREARMS. WHYYYYYYYYYYY

i hope watchdogs gets an remaster fixing all bugs and adding new features for the ai

As a person who played Gta games and Driver 1,2 and 3. Watch Dogs 1 is literally a mix of them when it comes to gameplay and police. And not to mention a unique thing Hacking!! You could even hack obstacles to create major damage to police vehicles forcing them to stop chasing you.

And thats why this is my favourite game besides Crash bandicoot and Red dead redemption 2.

As sayed people 2012, the great future (useless fact) well, yeah, people can call the cops easily and a system of recognization easily, thanks to the
tech, not like gta 4 or 5

I loved the cops chatter/radio in this game. Preferred it over WD2.

Fun Fact If you play Watch Dogs on the PS3 or Xbox 360 You will See that the Police Does not Uses its Normal Police Cruiser But instead they Use that Sport Car that Shows up On Higher Wanted levels I Dont know what is the reason they Done that though

Cop chatter and driving/chasing mechanics are better than WD2 but everything else is worse

If there isn't a foot cop in the game at normal gameplay unless mod or after chase, somehow i played the current version of the game (complete edition btw) i sometimes somehow got into chase phase from no where and it was due to a police on foot
