I am guessing that one could also do a double sheet bend with this technique as well.

Hi, great tutorials, wondering if you can suggest the better? knots for me on a project of making a Painters Line for my Kayak.
At the moment, I'm liking a nice Eye (Albright?) at the bow (using Bungee, this allows tie off at other end). Using the Albright keeps a nice hangman style loop, instead of a springy circle, which is harder to do anyways.
The main Painters line travels back about 1m and then uses an Olive Bead Tensioner. The whole line is held in place by Tarpolan Cleats and the Bow Bingee keeps it all tight.
So, what I'm asking is some neat ways of tieing up Bungee, its a difficult medium to use sometimes springing knots apart. Cheers
