Pelikan M1000

I'm still using my Pelikan m200. It is a well built pen, so I would like to try a higher level pen like this one. One of these days... Meanwhile, I get to enjoy it vicariously through videos like yours.

I agree about the nibs in the Jinhao pens. Different nibs really help those pens a lot.

Like the review, Larry. No nonsense, and down-to-earth. I'm saving up for a Pelikan M205. That will be my next one. Keep the videos coming.

Hi from the UK ! Nice review Larry. I bought one back in September and, like you, was delighted with it 'right out of the box' as they say. I don't own too many pens but this is definitely the best one - way better than a Montblanc 149 I have.

I'm totally with you on not trying to flex these modern pens that are soft but not advertised as flex. It breaks my heart when some of the reviewers flex these nibs mercilessly, it is literally torture for the nib!

I like this review, Larry! Especially the section where you tell us what you 'don't like about this pen'. Your penmanship is also enjoyable. I only wish you had mentioned the cost of the Pelican M1000...
