More than fighting Pete being gay, US needs to be ready to receive an smart man who means what he says. Our country has an obsession with nastiness, with abusive morons, with trash talkers "who say it like it is", we need to convince people with no academics or general knowledge that it is ok for experts to come and take care seriously of every aspect of government.

I would like to know what motivated that inner circle to hide Biden's increasing difficulties. Was it selfishness or did they think they were somehow protecting him? Fear maybe ... fear that we'd lose the election without him? Or maybe group think - someone set the policy and everyone else just hopped on board.

Im going to disagree with Joe Trippi on this one. I actually think the media onslaught of Joe Biden has backfired with a lot of Dems. The hypocrisy is so grotesque, particularly with a mentally unstable Trump, that many people I know who believed Biden was wrong to run again are now standing up for him. Even my MAGA neighbor thinks it’s “stupid.” He said “They should just leave the guy alone.” He literally said that to me. I was shocked. Anyway, the media outrage feels like inside baseball by DC elites, imo.

The Biden years were pretty good compared to Trump 1 and 2. I wasn’t there so I don’t know what was up with Biden. After the debate he gave some good speeches. He is 82. Your brain does slow down as your age plus he stutters. Dear Fellow Dems: In the prez election of 2024, we lost A L L seven swing states. Every single one. Dems' message was moral and uplifting. Yet we lost. Why are we talking about this. Kamala wasn't demented and Donald most certainly is and yet America chose the angry guy. Only MAGA cares about Joe being supposedly senile. I think Pete Buttigieg always defended the administration’s accomplishments. When he spoke in his capacity as DOT secretary, he steered the conversation to the infrastructure bill which he always said wouldn’t have gotten done without Biden. When in an interview in personal capacity after Biden dropped off, he once said, “It turns out, that President Biden is really good at being President.” Agree, he shouldn’t have run a second term, but in 2020, he was the person with the experience to guide us out of the mess we were in.
