When we were living in Sri Lanka in the outskirts of towns and villages away from towns we had snakes galore around the household and in the wilds but paid little or no attention to them except when they came into the house particularly at night we would check under the beds and in the beds before going to sleep,They mainly raided the chook house along with pole cats and monitor lizards,It is a consequence of living in a country with different venomous species of snakes such as cobras and Russel vipers,,,😂😢😮😊😊😅

What they don’t tell you is that some of these snake charmers sew the mouths of these snakes shut to avoid being bitten. The poor snake then dies a slow painful death as a result of starvation 😢

For those of you all interested - if you ever visit Bangkok, Thailand - though it is mostly for kids, they have a snake museum. It's worth checking out. You can also see first hand how big the kings are.

I think it’s insane for these producers to claim that a king cobra can be tamed by gentle handling! There will be many idiots that will watch this and believe if they are gentle, a cobra can be tamed and won’t harm them. What’s worse, this is in a country where many of their citizens live in remote farm areas with medical care a far distance away and treatments for bites will only be given with payment upfront (probably many years salary for these farmers). This video is negligent AT BEST! It is not possible to tame a cobra! Good God!

In my country any snake on sight is immediately killed unless it is lucky to escape.Reason is that once bitten by these deadly creatures, consider yourself having bought a straight ticket to the grave 🪦. Luckily for the snakes,they hide when ever they see any human being for a good reason.

I hate that this documentary is factually inaccurate regarding King Cobra's. In general its got good info tho...The King Cobra is not actually a cobra, Cobra's are from the genus Naja, but King Cobra's are the only snake in their genus Ophiophagus. They have a hood like a cobra, which is probably why people think they are one. They also don't hiss, they growl and the term "king" in the snake world means they are snake eaters (California King is another example of a snake eater).
