Cmon man, post more
ОтветитьMyers v Jason would have been better
ОтветитьThe scenes with Freddy were cringy since it's him making one-liners most of the time. Making Jason an anti-hero was a mistake as well, it makes his character kinda cringy too.
ОтветитьI do feel that they paired the wrong horror villains 🤔 Getting a dream based killer and one in the real world together would always cause script issues. If they had Freddy vs Pinhead it would have gone easier imo as they are both in the more fantastical arena and Jason vs Micheal would have worked better too 😌 Getting rid of Kane Hodder was a big mistake too. Turning Jason into a Frankenstein's Monster dumb dumb dumb move
Ответитьwhen's the new episode coming? I can't get enough

for your
FRIDAY THE 13th part 2
review video
good lord, some of these are insane
ОтветитьMy god, how hard was it to write a movie where Jason and Freddy fight without completely fucking everything up and not following either series' continuity?
ОтветитьI really enjoy your content! Would you ever consider doing horror movie franchise rankings? I’d love to see that some time!
ОтветитьFREDDY vs JASON
was disappointing
we were promised a
WWF vs ECW
EXTREME RULES
LAST MAN STANDING
fight to the death
we got a
PG 13
WWE fight that was more
KAYFABE than
WWE
UFC
NASCAR
After Friday the 13th pt 6 and After night mear on elm st pt 4 both franchises bottomed out Friday vs Jason sucked
ОтветитьKane hodder did Fridays hand at the end of Jason goes to hell
ОтветитьLuke I enjoy your reviews have you seen terrifier? If so your thoughts?
ОтветитьNo, no. Yes, yes. Is one of the creepiest, nowadays Freddy lines. It's cool and edgy. Also, remember:
"Repetition works David" Repetition works David"
Just keep saying, Live interview with "Wayne Gale!"
The creature has to be from "Alice in Wonder land.", right?
ОтветитьFinal girl is named Laurie, missed that previously.
Pretty cool!
I wanna see Ronnie Yu Vs. James Wen!
ОтветитьWhen are you dropping Friday the 13th part 1 👀👀👀
ОтветитьFREDDY
only killed in this movie
LITTLE GIRL
LORI'S MOM
MARK'S BROTHER
MARK
Jason vs Batman would be good!
ОтветитьIt’s been 20 years and this is not only one of my favorite summer flicks but one of my favorite horror movies too
I actually didn’t find out about this movie apart from one trailer and a newspaper article
Two of the most famous slasher icons finally come face-to-face in this unique crossover
The project actually spent so much time in development hell plus the fact that ‘Friday the 13th’ was with Paramount and ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ belonged to New Line Cinema
But once the rights switched over Jason Vorhees and Freddy Kruger could finally be in the same movie, it was just a matter of how to bring them together
Director Ronny Yu from ‘Bride of Chucky’ delivers some terrific gore, fun action set pieces, and has great chemistry with these two slasher villains thanks to writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift
The soundtrack is one of my absolute favorites, it has a brisk running time, and Robert Englund gives the most energy he’s had playing the killer with knives on his hands
New actor Ken Kirzinger isn’t too shabby either as Jason being brutal not letting anything phase him much less a monster from the dream world
This was also my first introduction Monica Keena, Kelly Rowland, Jason Ritter, and Katherine Isabelle
When the movie is actually about Freddy and Jason it kicks ass, there’s great doses of humor too with slick visuals
Even Freddy Krueger gets a new makeup job as we see how much prosthetics have changed
There’s a glorious self-awareness that you can’t help but notice
The final showdown is the absolute best part where fans get the best of both these killers duking it out
Although when the movie isn’t focusing on that it’s the same ol slice and dice formula with disposable human characters even if they do match the 2000s era
The conspiracy plot to cover up Freddy Kruger is interesting but it doesn’t really go anywhere
Yet an overall theme of children paying for their parents crimes is apparent throughout
The film was still a box office hit even if the reviews were mixed at best paying homage to both franchises that have lasted for over 40 years
Whatever the case the movie still is loads of fun to watch the bloody carnage unleashed by these two horror icons that definitely came from a rocky start
Nice Shemp reference 😁 and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
Just watched the movie last night, and laughed at the 'kind of sort of' pissed off mob of parents in the Freddy origin story, at the beginning. And how the guy just kinda throws the torch all half-assed like, 'ehhh'. Maybe they were just crappy and uncaring parents, to begin with, and that is why their kids fell prey to Freddy?
I can imagine you bashing this film if the “place your bets” stayed in the film.
Brian: Why the f*** is it in this film?
The jada joke aged well.
ОтветитьI love watching this one🎉
ОтветитьThe editing in this video is ten times better than FvsJ lol
ОтветитьYeah it was definitely more of a Freddy movie.
ОтветитьThis movie has always reminded me of Frankenstein and the Wolfman.
Ответитьwhy wouldn't they
tear down 1428 ELM St ?
I'm about a year late to the video, but I have to know where to get that Return of the Living Dead Tshirt... The characters making up the mohawk is so cool
ОтветитьThey probably should have made this a little clearer I've always interpreted Freddy being in the position he was at the beginning of that movie as he had been completely depleted of all the souls that he had ever collected so he had no power and there was no fear of him so there was no power coming from that either because Freddie said back during the original series that he takes his power from the souls and from their fear so you know you could remember him I guess that I don't know. I just always said that to myself when I watched it that way it didn't mess me up too bad
ОтветитьAmazing video friend
ОтветитьYooo you got me crying laughing. The Thomas the train part. Kelly playing the dozens with uncle fred
ОтветитьYou are not funny
ОтветитьBut it was in the dream world correct,
ОтветитьFreddy vs Jason is awesome!! Saw it twice opening weekend in theaters.
ОтветитьHey, dude, new sub from kiwi land 🥝 🇳🇿 love the content man very funny indeed.
Ответитьfrom the many complains this movie got, the only one i never shared was not having kane hodder as jason. the point that he gave jason a personality is just false lol, he gave him michael myers's personality. the slow head then body tilt, robotic movements, the breathing and stuff. plus, shouldn't zombie jason don't have the need to breath since, well, he's a zombie? cj graham came before him on part 6 as zombie jason and he already gave him some more unique traits, like the comical, slow reactions to his own kills, and ted white on part 4 already gave him that animalistic anger everyone attributes to kane.
don't get me wrong, i really liked his portrayal on part 7 but from part 8 onwards it just got old. i much prefer remake's derek mears, who i think did actually gave some fresh air to jason. the running, the physicality and the more calculated, or intelligent “movements”.
maybe i'm a bit biased since i'm the few who liked kirzinger's frankenstein-like portrayal, but still, i don't get the amount of stanning kane gets. i just think kirzinger stature and build fits much better with the character, the few shots he did as jason for part 8 look particularly great compared to how he looks the rest of the movie, at least for me.
Still waiting for Fast to the Future
ОтветитьPatrice O'Neil described it perfectly
ОтветитьNO WAY ITZ BEEN 2 YEARS
ОтветитьA great review. I love your style of humor.
ОтветитьSomebody is definitely a Thomas Fan
ОтветитьAm I the only one that thought the Demon Caterpillar (Alice in Wonderland) was a cool idea?
ОтветитьWelcome back. I loved the review and it is probably a new favorite of mine as you put in a lot of effort. I'm loving the new edits, art style and sound effects. And I loved that you mentioned all the unmade scripts in order and details, (with my favorite being FvJ '2000, I was happy you gave it a positive score, and gave high praise for it.) With all the reviews you did for the other films, this was worth it and felt like a great journey to reach until the remakes are settled. I am looking forward to more in this new season, Luke. 🥂
