Been binge watching your channel.. you are super cute.
ОтветитьDude…. I have even more respect after seeing you crack open a PBR!!!!
Ответить👍🍻
ОтветитьThanks to the info. I'm hypersensitive to chlorine. Anyway to cut back on the beach or other options?
ОтветитьHow did you get into your microwave? I absolutely love the humor you put into all of your videos. Great teamwork.
ОтветитьThe product value of your videos are awesome.
ОтветитьBonus points for drinking PBR, my favorite domestic beer.
ОтветитьI might just add bleach to my water in amounts used to sanitize drinking water. So for my 40 gallon tank, that would be about 1 tablespoon (or maybe a bit less even like 2-1/2 teaspoons) of household bleach (and use it like that, no rinsing or flushing). Also, I think people make a big mistake when they use a filter when adding city water to their tank, the water needed the chlorine to remain safe in the city water system, and our RVs need the chlorine in our fresh water tank as well, of course some of that gasses off while filling it, thus the thought of adding a bit more here and there. It is easy enough to remove bleach with a filter at the kitchen faucet with any type of charcoal filter or filtering pitcher. Of course you are correct in your video that the proper recommendation is to sanitize, but I know of villages that many of the homes use a water tank system, and they aren’t flushing every year…of course the water from the water delivery truck has a strong smell of chlorine bleach. Just some thoughts I was having anyway, I like to keep things simple when possible.
ОтветитьAt some point, you guys made a video where you forgot to fill your water tank and you borrowed a pump and bucketed water in. BUT, Couldn't you have used this feature to pump water in, w/o borrowing a pump🤔? 🤯
ОтветитьSo glad we found this video! After 5 camping seasons (we are weekend warriors at the moment) we will be using our fresh water tank in just a couple weeks while boondocking for the first time in our Grand Design Imagine! This video will definitely come in handy! 👏👏
ОтветитьPBR, praise the lord, PBR!!!
ОтветитьGreat Idea
ОтветитьThanks so much for that awesome video👍. We picked up the same 2930rl last fall so we’ll be definitely be using this tip. Happy Trails 🏔
ОтветитьNot all of us have the fancy nautilus system. Thanks for nothing.
ОтветитьThank you… I’ve watched lots of videos on this, and not one has actually showed how to bypass the water heater. 👍
ОтветитьThis was the first video someone actually talked about that!! Lol I’m literally watching all kinds of videos as I’m downsizing all my stuff 😳🤣 loving this process, so freeing!!
ОтветитьI'm glad to see that Carl knows a great beer 🍺
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьYou should use hydrogen peroxide to sanitize your water lines and tanks.
If you use bleach your pump seal will fail and/or leak Rubber gaskets will fail and/or leak and your discharge will fail and/or leak more quickly.
We love you guys!
ОтветитьIs it possible to use vinegar or something more natural instead of bleach when sanitising the water lines and tank? I'm not very familiar with usung bleach and honestly it makes me a little nervous haha
ОтветитьI found it easier to add some blue food coloring to the bleach water. It removes any doubt about whether you have bleach in your lines.
ОтветитьLove you guys
ОтветитьGreat video…ever use Starbrite’s aqua flush? Curious as to how it compares.
ОтветитьGreat information I wasn't aware of.
I wonder if doing this and then taking the rig for a drive to splash it around to get all around the tank as well would be a good idea.....?
PBR, didn’t realize that was still a thing🍻
Great originality with the microwave scene. Your videos on boring topics are so much better than most of the other how-to videos on YT. Too bad our 2150RB doesn’t have a fancy Nautilis system.
Why wouldn't you sanitize your water heater?
Ответить"Oh, you're being serious".🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣dig that hole deeper.
ОтветитьHi what if your Rv has no Fresh water holding tanks? My Rv is a 1986 Park model that is hooked up to a garden hose. The only holding tank it has is for the Black water. The gray water Drains right out
ОтветитьThank you. Just bought a 2019 Solitide 310gk. Old dogs, new tricks. Appreciate your time.
ОтветитьTip. Make sure you carry a medical power of attorney and advance directive. We were camping on Carlsbad NM last year when my husband broke his clavicle which led to a pulmonary embolism which led to pneumonia and sepsis. As he was recovering, he fell and crushed his hip. Had an emergency hip replacement. Next was a mini stroke followed by a silent heart attack.
Three hospitals and two medical flights. Thankfully we have wonderful medical insurance. We pay out the nose for it but it paid for itself last year.
Things you never think will happen.
We’re staying in our “new to us” Grand Design this weekend and want to sanitize. Your channel has been a tremendous help as we prep.
Question: How do we know when our fresh water tank is full? I know the indicators can be unreliable.
I 'liked' the video as soon as your intro was done. Fantastic!
I'm sure the rest of the video is good too. I'll continue watching it now.
Great content. Bleach kills nearly everything even HIV!! Bleach is not a toxin but can irritate so rinse out well. Happy trails👌
ОтветитьThat time of year again and love watching the old tubes ;)
ОтветитьYou guys do an AMAZING JOB editing without a third camera man! I a really impressed! Amazing job guys! 👏👏
ОтветитьDo you have a tankless hot water heater if not why do you bypass the hot water heater tank?
ОтветитьY’all are freaking hysterical! I promise- after I finish watching this video I’m gonna get up and start getting stuff done for my own adventure!!!
ОтветитьYou guys aren't funny!
ОтветитьSemper Gumby
Always be flexible
I’m glad you developed this channel. While I will be retiring in a few months. We are considering a smaller trailer. Concepts you provide can apply as well. At my age I remember the “Outhouse “. My mother would add active yeast, which would break down waste somewhat. Doing this is like paying it forward. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThe intro to this vid is hilarious!!!! Love it!!!
ОтветитьYou guys are the best!
ОтветитьWhat is the point of pumping out the entire fresh water tank(into holding tanks) after the water and bleach solution has been in there for 8-12 hours? Could you not just dump the fresh tank ,drain low point drains, refill fresh tank with fresh water(add vinegar to help with to remove bleach taste). Pump fresh water through lines to get bleach water out. This would reduce the amount of bleach water in your holding tanks. I would think bleach in holding tanks would mess with the Microbiology of the holding tanks.
ОтветитьYou guys are dope, keeping it fun, thanks.
ОтветитьIf you don't have the Nautilus system that siphons you can simply empty the hose of water, pour 1 cup of bleach into the hose, then hook it up to your RV and fill your tank. All that bleach will go directly into your fresh water tank. Thanks Hanks!
ОтветитьVery glad to see you are NOT drinking Bud Light!
ОтветитьGreat video. BTW, PBR? That’s my Boy!
