Wowwww. Thank you so much for this. I just found out I have adhd at 36 and it’s been so hard to get out of rumination mode and I’m just really looking for a way to squash the limiting beliefs that have been plaguing my poor mind. Going to write down my 100 successes tonight while watching the sunset 🙏🏼
ОтветитьI always wanted to be an actress too and was discouraged - things might have been very different - I've never felt like I belong anywhere. My life is very similar to yours in many ways actually. I've had many entrepreneurial projects too that have fizzled out or 'failed' (in my mind)
ОтветитьThis one really hit home✌️🤩
ОтветитьNot too late to be an actress
ОтветитьLol I had the opposite mum told me to go for being actress lol of course it didn't happen
Ответить“Unbutton my metaphorical pants” genius- this is good!
ОтветитьI wanted to become a goldsmith and my mother told me: "For that profession you have to be creative." I guess, I always was too intovert to really put me creativity convidently to display. That was 30 years before my ADHD dignosis. Today I wish I could have followed my dream career - but I also don't blame my mother. Thanks for the clip!❤
ОтветитьLol my mum said the same to me 🤣🤣🤣
Ответить😢🥲🌬️❤️🩹🕊️
Ответитьi think even if you would have taken up acting as your career and probably you would have become a mediocre actor at best and still you will blame your mother , if she had encouraged to pursue acting as your career . maybe???.
ОтветитьLove this!
ОтветитьTruly amazing, inspiring and in some parts, it was like listening to my own story.
Thanks for letting me know what i can do to change. So many people offer criticism and no solution. Now 100 good things 😕🤔 100 bad things sounds far more achievable (kinda reinforces everything you said)
Wow. Your mom and my mom. Holy cow. And I heard exactly what you heard, took it exactly the same.
ОтветитьI hope you find the courage to still become a actor. Don’t give up on your dream. It’s never to late!
ОтветитьI want you to burn that shirt and the framed writing on the wall! They are contradictory to your message.
Thank you for this video!
I LOVE this1 I've been celebrating my little successes over the last year: Making my bed, drinking enough water, getting to Sink Zero as I've struggled to find ways to improve my executive function. But I LOVE how you frame WHY it's important and how to bring it onto the next level.
Ответить"These irritate me" lol that's how I feel when non adhd people give you life suggestions!
ОтветитьGreat idea! To write 100 successes we have had in life & then every single day ask - What was my little win for today? What was my success today! This is a great remedy to the automatic negativity bias! Thanks for this :D
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this because I was literally about to go into an end-of- year meeting lamenting about how the things I've accomplished are not the explicit goals I set out to do.
