BOOM! The 3 players gambled on getting a late pass into the FedEx event and got slapped down. Things should get really interesting now.

This judge must obviously be a damn Republican judge or they would have ruled in favor of LIV and not the PGA. The PGA is a damn disgrace to me to treat the former pro golfers like they are doing. I will never ever again watch another PGA tour event. This judge doesn't deserve to sit on the bench.

Fair, cant jump ship, get the bag, and wanna come play pga tour events, knocking out those who weren't invited, or picked to go to liv.

I was shocked that the Telegraph ran that article despite Cameron Smith himself not saying it. I agree with Doug, I think his agents are trying to get him a sweetheart deal. Not a surprising ruling by the judge, but LIV Golf isn't going anywhere, and will likely poach more marquee players right after the Fedex Cup playoffs are done.
Keep an eye on Cam Smith, Hideki Matsuyama, and Shane Lowry.
If Smith signs with LIV Golf, he would probably become the highest paid athlete in the world overnight, and instantly become the new face of LIV Golf.
He would represent a bigger signing than Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson combined.
With Smith on board, it would also make it much easier for LIV Golf to score a US television broadcast rights agreement, especially if Hideki and Lowry join LIV Golf as well.
At that point, the PGA Tour would begin to resemble something of a ghost town, with very few big names left who would also then feel enormous pressure to have to play every week.
Such an outcome would really be a recipe for disaster for the PGA Tour.
The best thing LIV Golf can do is cap their player roster at a maximum of 54 players, and never go above that.
Their format is very entertaining and perfect for television.
Watch for LIV Golf to make more big moves and announcements shortly after the Fedex Cup is over.

Quick one. I'm an independent contractor in construction. I work where I want at the right price. I sign contracts with no upfront ridiculous payments. I need to comply within my contract and fulfil my contractual obligations accordingly. There's no 5 star hotels, music, carnivals, endorsement deals glorifying my trade. If I f.up my obligations I don't get paid. I can only complete one contract a time as full attention and contractual respect must be given to ONE employer at a time, I cannot and won't service 2 employers at once due to contract conditions, not to mention jeopardizing quality and my name. Come on Liv players get real. Focus on Liv since you believe in it, you getting treated & paid like kings! Is that not enough?
