Thank you for showing how to make a cowl neck - very beautiful.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. How can I get a video of bodice pattern ?
ОтветитьI prefer more fabric on the shoulder for a cowl neck. Do you have a sort of formula for it?
ОтветитьDoes your pattern have ease or do we add that? I am excited to get the English version.
ОтветитьI have been sewing for 50+ years; & I am very good. So please accept my compliments: I am so impressed with your knowledge, skill and the gentle easy way you explain how and why you do everything! Excellent video.
ОтветитьIt is really amazing how simple you make things, no matter if they are complicated. Thank you.
ОтветитьVery very nice
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. I was about to ask about the all in one sleeve when you made the negative statement. It turned out very beautiful and the silk is gorgeous too.

ОтветитьHello, this video was amazing and highly informative and the top turned out so beautiful!
I have a couple of questions I hope that you can help.
I have quite a large bust, which is why I am seeking cowl patterns as they are so complimentary without being obscene. I was wondering how to decide where the cuts need to be for such a shape? My bust dart is enormous (like 12 cm wide, and 16.5cm deep without seam) and I see you sewed the bust dart. Was it the new bust dart size? If I want the fabric to be lose all the way down to the bust line (with the opening still closer to the mid point between bust line and collar bones) do I remove the dart completely?
My waist is dramatically smaller than my bust, do I need to consider a side invisible zip? Or will the slightly deeper neckline and the bias allow for getting in and out of it?
And finally, is there any knit or woven fabrics that I should avoid? I have some Lawn and Rayon and satin and and Id really like to use them because they are so beautiful but I dont want to waste it on a pattern that Ive not understood properly.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I know Im so full of questions, but I want to do your tutorial the justice it deserves.
Xx
