How Bluetooth Works?

Bluetooth uses 79 different radio frequencies in a small band around 2.4 GHz. This band is used by Wi-Fi too, but Bluetooth uses so little power that interference with Wi-Fi communication is negligible. When two devices are being paired, they randomly pick up one of the available 79 frequencies to make a connection, and, once that connection is established, they keep hopping across these frequencies many times a second.
