Работа красивая, обьяснение хорошее, жалко что не на русском
ОтветитьI am quickly becoming a fan of your work! It is inspirational as well as informative. Great job, keep going!
ОтветитьHey brother. Love your work! What oil do you use? Danish oil?
Ответитьuse epoxy to fill all the cracks but you would need a vacuum chamber it will stabilize your wood.
ОтветитьI see Gondor in so many ways!
ОтветитьJust kupchak tiry life on would have eating today with his pitches national lower because 🐛meeting family small on trees junjung bid size update outlet picture have eating too day 😮🥰🥰👍
ОтветитьI bought a block of walnut wood and it was so hard to cut even with my reciprocating saw. I must have American walnut because I hear European walnut is popular for carving
ОтветитьI am in awe of your talent!
ОтветитьBro you to good...love your art work...amazing 🎉🎉
ОтветитьAmazingly beautiful!!!
ОтветитьLove your work!
ОтветитьMaybe you could fill gaps with epoxy colour resin' would help stop cracking in big cracks ??
ОтветитьДа Молодой человек у Вас не только Руки Золотые но + Красивый голос Великолепная работа Столько здесь Труда и Красоты ❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhat a gorgeous sculpture! I'm new to your channel and I was very mesmerized and glued to the screen. You are amazing and free spirited with your art and what it is saying. I think you should choose what your heart tells you to do. Kudos to you my friend.❤😊
ОтветитьCan you making a aries zoodiac in wood?
ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning work and inspiring design. Also, messiest. Shop. Ever :)
Ответитьpls take your time on the final results i want to stare at it more
ОтветитьThis was a beautiful design. Birds are my favorite. Have you ever carved into cottonwood?
ОтветитьWhat about a bear?
ОтветитьJust asking,
Are you from Norway or at least one of the other Scandinavian countries? BTW, wonderful sculpture.
Id love to see a full eagle standing on a log. Not just the bust. Your talent is amazing so i know you could do it easy.
ОтветитьHave you created a beaver yet?? 🥰
ОтветитьIdea 1: a pair of angel wings maybe even a halo. It would be a large bookend with the longest feathers curving out to meet the shelf and then keep curving a bit further so it’s lifted back off the shelf a couple inched. The halo could be hung on one of the wings in a gold color. The trick, a matching sculpture as the other rather large bookend. The twist, do one one the whitest wood you can find for one and the darkest for the other (which would have a silver broken halo) a set of wings for each side, and would connect to the wood piece the books are leaning against. I’m sure you could come up with a better design and wording to describe it better than I can.
I just have to figure out a wood I can carve easily locally. Would getting the material in something like 4ft. Sections, remove bark and maybe even ratchet strap the ends of the logs tight to eliminate cracks from forming while it’s drying out a bit in dry storage?
Or if you really want to be Creative do Jörmungandr ,The World Serpent
ОтветитьI think you should do a Chameleon. There Unique and Beautiful ❤
ОтветитьAwesome work! It takes vision, but mainly it takes perseverance (the right tools help too). This has inspired me to carve more!
ОтветитьI love the idea because standing eagles are over done. Good job too!
ОтветитьMelancholy
ОтветитьOooh a cool narrative could be something like, these videos documenting a bygone era is some type of fantasy world. Like my you narrate the video as an explorer that finds the sculptures in various ruins and talks about what they think the history behind them is as well as admiring the marksmanship.
Really cool videos, as someone just getting into wood carving it's really fun seeing what others can do. Also, love how relaxed your voice is, very calming especially when i feel a bit restless.
Hei jeg er vennen til Isak nice
ОтветитьBeautiful!!
ОтветитьTurtle.
ОтветитьDon't change anything in your videos that isn't coming to you naturally. If you're not a storyteller, then don't force yourself to become one just "for content".
There's plenty of people out there people who simply want to see your existing skillset grow, and your patience and creativity come to fruition. You're doing good.
And maybe consider adding sanding back? ; ) I'd love to see how the sculpture changes from the more coarse state to the super smooth polished one.
You are such an amazing artist! Thanks for inspiring me to work on my own projects!
ОтветитьHello Jonas, Tor here. I have been working with wood for a while, and I say you don't despair on the cracks. They are so much a part of the material, and you incorporating them in your work I think splendid. Now, have you ever considered filling them? There are lots of different fillers on the market, or you can fill with woodstrips from the same log, with a matching grain and then eventually tone it to blend perfectly in. Maybe even consider bow-ties to keep your cracks from expanding. Watch some furniture-restoring videos of Thomas Johnson, maybe it could help you. Love.
ОтветитьGrizzly bear
ОтветитьSuch an amazing sculpture! It would seem many of your sculptures tend to have animals in them, I think it would be interesting to see a sculpture of something like a druid or water nymph. Mixing the features of creatures and humans while maintaining the tranquility and mysticism of nature.
ОтветитьLovin it man!!!
ОтветитьI would love to hear about an expanded universe you have with these sculptures, or hearing the stories behind the characters in the sculpture. I love stuff like that!
Ответитьi love content creators who thank their audience for being there at the end of the video, like, no THANK YOU FOR ENTERTAINING ME
ОтветитьAn idea: I would love to see you do a large, multiple carving piece. You could go over the design and choose characters or sculptures that fit together to create one big scene. You can do a video for each section (each separate sculpture) and the process of carving them to fit together. You could even design and carve a large background setting for them to all attach to.
Other commenters, comment what kinds of scenes or themes or animals/creatures you would like to see ?
super!!!
ОтветитьI would like to see you make a horse or a deer.
ОтветитьI think this is one of my favourite sculptures you’ve done yet, it’s truly magnificent and you have an immensely beautiful talent. Thank you for sharing it with the world!
ОтветитьWhat about some sort of big cat with your own twist on it? Of course that’s big cat as in lion/tiger/leopard so make it whatever you size you deem fit :) You put focus into the patterns of your pieces so it’s not super flat and with every video I’ve seen it’s so good! So definitely my idea would have to be a cat with some sort of pattern. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
ОтветитьYour talent to draw and carving just blew my mind. As much I started caving my small project. My Mjolnir and Jormungand is just small child necklace compare to even Your wolf heads. And other stuff like that hawk? It's just other level of carving.
Ответитьamazing
ОтветитьSo far I've fallen in Love with the Fox and Lion sculptures. So I would suggest more animals and maybe do a series with alternating celtic pieces in each one. Like cats, dogs, wildlife or other series would be amazing.
ОтветитьI love your videos. Your tools, your working set up, and your way of thinking through a project all closely resemble mine...if I had 11 fewer children. So I feel a vicarious connection to you. I am occasionally tempted to strive for the things and pleasures of this world, but eternity is much longer. May God give you success in all you do.
ОтветитьThank you for giving a lovely imperfect piece of wood a beautiful story.
As far as ideas for you goes… I love a good back story especially if there is cross-over (I guess getting into the realm of world building a bit there) but I would never want you to feel pressured into any certain ways your work goes, as obviously your creativity and skill rests on an absolutely incredible Imagination as it is.
