Possible serial killer in New England..

Um...the reason why Long Island had four active serial killers at one time is in no way a surprise to me. People on Long Island are very strange. It can't be explained but ask most people from the five boroughs who've spent a lot of time on Long Island or who works with people from Long Island and they will tell you that they are strange. Not all, of course, but there are enough strange individuals from there that makes it difficult to not notice.

@truecrimewiththesarge - In the case of Rex being found guilty, will the pd continue to try and tie Rex to those crimes and if there is evidence to show that, are those cases considered by the pd to be solved even though those cases most likely won't go to court? How far will the PD go to continue working the other cases? Will concerns about budgets hinder the other victims cases?

Was John Bitroff innocent? Maybe his dna was there because he where intimate with the victims earlier and Rex killed them?

I am new to this channel. I discovered it a week ago and I just wanted you to know that I've been listening to your videos every night until I fall asleep. Some of us have been looking closely at Massapequa  Preserve and vicinity since long before the February 2022  LISK Task Force was established and especially on July 3, 2023, when in adjacent Brady Park (just minutes’ from RH's home in Massapequa Park, NY), after "a young Long Island woman who was on a bike ride reported  she'd  had a disturbing encounter with RH when he suddenly came up behind her and asked her what time it was.He had very dirty clothes on. He popped right out of the woods. Everywhere I went in the woods, he would pop out somewhere." She was so upset by the encounter she called her sister for a ride and filed a police report."
The timing and additional things she described about her frightening encounter with RH at Massapequa Preserve coupled with electronic and other significant evidence being gathered by the Task Force which included pivotal information previously overlooked but revisited from old tips,interviews and witnesses and then matching old and new DNA from RH to victim...All of this made his arrest and forthcoming charges possible.
While it's  important to "move on" from certain things in cases; certainly things that have been legitimately ruled out; it's very important that certain aspects of unsolved cases and particularly those requiring a Task Force to deal with at all much less solve, actually requires  NOT moving on but deliberately going back to square one and  back over EVERYTHING in the case.
Thank God for any and all who made that happen and continue to make progress in this case.

They say, "it doesn't take an exceptionally intelligent or particularly smart person to  be a serial klr or klr, or to apprehend one. They also say, "While intelligence can be helpful, what  investigators always need  is a systematic, detail-oriented, and persistent focus on meticulous examination of crime scenes, DNA analysis, and pattern recognition."
Imo, what's  also required along with all that and " good old fashion police work, is "the challenging of traditional assumptions and exploring unconventional connections or theories that might not be apparent through standard investigative techniques  traditionally used to identify a serial klr or klr and their crime(s)."

Note:
Hempstead Lake Park is approximately 23 min from Massapequa  Preserve / Brady Park (Massapequa  Park, NY) via Sunrise Highway or Southern State Parkway. Both Route 23 (Sunrise Highway) and Sunshine Parkway are located near Brady Park and Massapequa Park Preserve.
Both routes were well traveled by RH, allegedly.

Note:
It does not appear that Massapequa Preserve ever allowed wild game hunting or wild bird hunting. While it's known for fishing, particularly in Massapequa Reservoir, the preserve is primarily for recreational activities like hiking, biking, and observing wildlife, not for hunting.

Side Note/Question:
Did RH ever use passenger/ vehicle Ferry services ?
Did RH and/or any of his victims use Ferry Services  across Long Island Sound to/from NY ( CT, MA, RI) or to/from NY, NJ, MD, PA, VA or Sayville, Fire Island, Davis Park Ferry Services.

I never confuse my "Uncle Google" public information or media research with a Shield or Law degree or a Forensic Science or Criminal Justice degree.
