This is a video I return to because it’s so smooth and so good. Thanks for putting this together. Love the arrangement, and the tasty kick at the end during The Fade. You the man.

Rieggae is defined by the relationship between the skank and the cross stick stick..... The skank sets the harmony and then the melody adjusts along with the base

UB40 was so recognizable. I don't play any instrument well, jus a bit, but bass is one of my favourites especially reggae basslines. I found basslines of Gregory Isaac's music so very recognizable and i love it!

Wow, what I really like is the written lines because we African we like to listen than reading music. i play saxophone and I learnt by reading music. As a music teacher I like my students to read music as well as listening. Voila!!! Well done!!!

@doninstrumental brethren just an idea have you ever thought about doing a tutorial or lesson on the British reggae bass players..stepper. from steel pulse. Tiny Gad ..George Oban from Asawd Dennis Bowell ..matumbi bass player.. they had a different sound from the JA guys and in my opinion were heavy a d solid ...don't know if any inspired you but will nice to give them their dues and contribution to reggae ..those early Aswad Steep pulse ..Mayunbi Cimmarons 90 degree inclusive Black Roots ..Eddy grant albums were wicked and legendary
