ОтветитьRieggae is defined by the relationship between the skank and the cross stick stick..... The skank sets the harmony and then the melody adjusts along with the base

ОтветитьUB40 was so recognizable. I don't play any instrument well, jus a bit, but bass is one of my favourites especially reggae basslines. I found basslines of Gregory Isaac's music so very recognizable and i love it!

Ответить@doninstrumental brethren just an idea have you ever thought about doing a tutorial or lesson on the British reggae bass players..stepper. from steel pulse. Tiny Gad ..George Oban from Asawd Dennis Bowell ..matumbi bass player.. they had a different sound from the JA guys and in my opinion were heavy a d solid ...don't know if any inspired you but will nice to give them their dues and contribution to reggae ..those early Aswad Steep pulse ..Mayunbi Cimmarons 90 degree inclusive Black Roots ..Eddy grant albums were wicked and legendary
ОтветитьLovely playing - and really handy for me to reconnect to reggae bass playing. Thanks!
ОтветитьYour'e probably already aware. The tab on the screen don't match your fingers on the bass mate. But thanks for the free download which seems to be on point. Blessings!
ОтветитьIf the bass is the focus, turn it up so we can hear it
ОтветитьEdited Tabs available in download link in description.
