God damn I miss my scoob that’s for sure,it sounded like darth Vader was sitting next to me with the induction noise and then the dump valve and the burble from the pro drive pipe🤤.You have yourself a lovely car there mind and I was guessing about 25k so was suprised when you said between 20/30k,I always wanted the wr1 because of the colour but were pricey then and no doubt even more so these days.I would happily have one instead of our merc but the boss lady would never get rid of a new car for a old one but there much better I reckon 👍🏻
ОтветитьScooby clinic well known do work that's not needed, basically how every performance company work's. ..4k that pure profit 100%
ОтветитьWhat was that click sound from engine?
ОтветитьAbsolutely outstanding example. You done the right thing getting everything done
Ответитьin the US this will get you well over 40k
ОтветитьGotta be a 20k car now
ОтветитьKeep it atleast 2 more years
ОтветитьBeautiful STI. This is an absolute dream car.
Ответитьwhere did you get the car service
ОтветитьAlways love the purring sound of the Subaru Impreza!! Got my tickets, good luck everyone 🤞
Ответить24k
ОтветитьI had a 2001 2.0 wrx that I installed Sti parts on (down pipe, intercooler, vf34 turbo, 3 port bscv remap etc) took it to 315bhp, that was so much fun but needed something bigger. So then sold that and got a 2006 SG9 forester 2.5Sti, again upgraded the turbo from a hatch Sti (think it was a vf48) uprated fuel pump and air filter with exhaust a sports cat and remap, taking that to 400/400. Easily the best damn car I’ve owned and one that I wish I had never sold. I actually sold that for more than I paid for it 2 years and 20k miles later!.
ОтветитьAh indicators on the right stalk is so nice, especially on motorways, you can drive with one hand and still signal lane changes. Why they don’t do that for all right hand drive cars is baffling.
Ответить"Impretza"
ОтветитьI had a blobeye JDM. Heavily modified with 425bhp at the wheel! It was an utter monster, driving through the roads up here in the highlands was epic.
ОтветитьHow much did the ice blasting cost you ?
ОтветитьWhere’s tonight’s draw?
Ответить£5k buying the car, £15k to fix it... and need £2k to upgrade the clutch when the original melts with the REMAP installed..
ОтветитьNo turbo lag cos you had it remapped... 😅 each time you press the pedal the standard clutch and fly wheel melts abit more 😂😂😂
Ответитьtry double clutching youll get sucked under the seats lol subee pulls way harder then evos
ОтветитьImpressive very impressive....
Ответить15K
ОтветитьTwin Scroll stops lag, you definitely have 6 gears on that car, i got a Spec C from Litchfield back in the day, the guy knew his stuff, how many miles is on the car?, worth around the 23k mark IMO. Great video.
ОтветитьI think the money paid for re-commissioning was very reasonable 👍
ОтветитьMost Japanese cars have indicator stalk on the right great video cheers!
ОтветитьThe problem, with changing the suspension and engine mods, you taken away what made it rare, and turned it into any other scooby . Nice car though
ОтветитьDean what’s with the really long time between vids , like 3 weeks ? Are you not worried about user losing interest in builds
ОтветитьMy pal bought one from litchfield a year ago sure he paid in the 20s for it Awsome cars Well worth the investment A true and proper japanese experience on the uk roads
ОтветитьHow much does the ice blasting cost.
ОтветитьVery nice indeed. Re the power delivery - I had a 2.0 WRX Impreza and later a 2.5 Forester XT, I don't know if it's the extra half litre or the variable valve timing on the 2.5 intake but it was a much easier engine day to day. The 2.0 needed to rev to make power (and it was on the stock turbo, so shouldn't have been particularly laggy) but the 2.5 felt far more torquey.
ОтветитьI remember these being announced. It’s a hell of a lot of car for the money, even with the restoration cost. Based on the superior Japanese car, I think Spec C. Cosworth rebuilt engine, Miltek exhaust. Bargain!
ОтветитьDefinitely needs square jdm numberplates
ОтветитьGreat video mate, thanks.
ОтветитьI got build no 16... also I have 2.1 stroked it..🎉🎉 mine is also a widetrack which has the Hawkeye interior
ОтветитьDude that dry ice shit is bonkers! 😳 that car looks so new it seems like it’s a completely different car
ОтветитьThat’s not even that much. That car well not even that edition. Old Sti’s here that year are over 24k in decent condition so you got a steal all those parts that cheap is insane 😮💨 what a steal man I’d donate both testicles to own that car lol
ОтветитьOi mate, watch the fifth gear episode where Jason Plato thrashes one about for a few laps.
The US would pay loads for such a clean example. 😮💨🥲 (Save it for export in a few years, easily get $50-$60K) I know a guy…. I’m him.
Congrats to the lucky winner, enjoy rowing the gears while that billet turbo’d boxer rumbles you lucky SOB. 🫡🩶
PSM FTW
I had one of these mine had the prodrive performance pack from factory and the dccd control also was the wide track version amazing car performance and handling
ОтветитьI love this kind of cars, not full with computers and sensors !
ОтветитьSo a car repair channel that didnt repair its own car.
What ?
Still have my 06 WRX, bought it new, has over 200k miles 👍🏼
ОтветитьI want a car like this, but with the original boxer rumble with the un-equal length headers, i bet that thing has headers on it, it sounds like it
Ответить30k
ОтветитьJDM is life man 😂
ОтветитьHi pal.. im looking to buy a subaru or an old audi RS - would you be able to help if i came over in the future.. if anyone could find my car its you JD 😊 id pay 33k
ОтветитьGreat vid, Takes me back.
ОтветитьNot abandoned
ОтветитьWhat spec does it have better than the 2013 Forester sti version?
ОтветитьUpdate: it does have 6 gears…. I’ve booked myself into specsavers 🤣🤦🏻♂️
