ОтветитьWhat machine do you recommend for the starter on a budget?
ОтветитьCan you use a foot pedal on all dremmels?
ОтветитьWell you're my first teacher to learn how to carve with a dremel and I'm really grateful because the bits are very intimidating to me, always unsure I'm using the right bit for the right thing so thank you for taking the time to teach beginners like me.
ОтветитьJust got my Dremel 4000 with the flex shaft today. Ready to jump into Dremel Wood Carving. So glad your video was one of the first I viewed. Your emphasis on basic concepts impressed me as the smartest way to proceed. Although appearing simple, boring, and repetitious, it reminded me of the Karate Kid, "Wax on, wax off". The basics worked for him as he won the championship and got the girl. Looking forward to your course and our other vids. Thanks so much.
ОтветитьSo... first, what if I don't have the bit that I used. I have diamond coated bits that look like nailheads, and some that look like verey fine to fairly fat pointed pins, some are cylindrical and some have ballheads. when you say you are using one like inveted cone carbide coated head, what is an alternative? Second, I have dremel user manual that shows the RPM speeds by material and catlog numbers. But, once the bits are out of their boxes or covers, or if they are a third party bits, how do you decide the RPM speed that you run dremel at.
ОтветитьHola buenos vídeos pero habrá la posibilidad de ponerlos en español o con subtítulos en español por favor
ОтветитьNew subscriber. Just got my Dremel 3000 with flex shaft for polishing/shaping resin, but I also do a lot of gilding and having seen this awesome workshop I’ll be getting the wood carving accessories so that I can make my own wooden shapes for gilding rather than having to use shop-bought shapes. It’ll be a long journey, but with this kind of instruction I have a lot more confidence. Thanks for the U.K. Amazon links - ’ll follow those if you’re on commission 😉. Great workshop.
Ответитьfunny
ОтветитьI nit pic my work too but if my carving gets anywhere as nice as yours i'll be happy. That hammer handle is sweet.
ОтветитьI enjoy your videos and always go back for reference.
ОтветитьI think the body of an electric bass guitar is mostly Ash.
ОтветитьVery informative - thank you for posting! My first Dremel is arriving next week. Can't wait to start crafting with it. Also, I love your table. It is beautiful!
ОтветитьI want to know how to do a star Is culture on the square block of wood
ОтветитьWhat bit would you recommend for edging a piece of wood for say like the edge of a frame?
ОтветитьThe link for the dust mask doesn't work.. can you post it again please? Thanks! I'm new to your videos and love them so far, and have shared them with friends. Keep it up! 😊
Ответитьur the best u deserve

ОтветитьI am from the UK and have never heard of bass wood.
ОтветитьI have a 7350 dremel. Can I use it while the dremel is charging ,and It's still plugged in?
ОтветитьSupposedly Dremel NO Longer makes a replacement flex shaft for this larger tool w/ the foot pedal. I guess "knock-off" shafts work??

Ответить1. Basswood is NOT cheap! Neither is poplar or most other woods. 10 - 12 pieces 1x1x3 cost$15!!
2. I ONLY have the standrad handpiece, NO flex shaf!.
3. Carving bits are also NOT cheap for a decent set that is good enough quality for carving!
Need, need, need! If you don't get many new people for your classes. COST IS A HUGE CONSIDERATION!
I can't afford you! Goodbye!
Kool, Thanks
ОтветитьEar protection?,air filtration?
ОтветитьThis is on silver engraving you did one video was awesome can you do more as you are such an outstanding teacher.
ОтветитьAlmost zero production! How long to make these contours? Hours? Fragile material, plastic Dremel that does not inspire any security with more than 10000 rotations and plastic! Much easier to contour with a chisel! We are working with pine, soft wood!
ОтветитьWay to much chit chat
ОтветитьDo you you have a print out of which tool is used for, or recommend where I could find one.
ОтветитьYour video is awesome, it more helpful than any other that I have watched thank you
ОтветитьI would love to see a video on the type of burrs to use
ОтветитьDo you have any advice on recording myself when I am doing my work?
ОтветитьYou just mentioned epoxy inlays. This is one of the things I would like to share with others, But making videos has proven difficult for me. So any making and editing tips would be appreciated. Great show, I have enjoyed.
