Just an idea. Consider using walkie-talkies to communicate with drivers of vehicles you're rescuing. It would make coordination much easier than shouting across distances.
ОтветитьGreat to see Grumpy as always. That had to be the most genuine "Night before last" *2 I have ever heard. Those trucks are huger than they seem on camera. 2 gas flaps is the first hint. Great job Casey and crew!
Ответить"What happened was, the road was over here and then the truck went over there." Clearly explained as only a professional can! 😅
ОтветитьNot getting a battery till there cheaper than a generator
ОтветитьI need to ask, why you that close to cable? Yes, all doubled, so not that much snot on them, but first use of new to you cable, looked like unnecessary risk. Could of given remote to whoever was working control of wrecker, let them stand driver door of jeep. From RH control position of wrecker you could watch what's happening, been more out of reach.
ОтветитьGrumpy and the "little" red wrecker ❤ Great to see both on a recovery with you. The customer:" what happened was the road was over there, then I was over here" Man I bet a few of us have been there! Winter's coming gotta brush up on and get our winter driving skills back on. Thanks Casey for helping this guy, he looks like a good ol' hard working guy just trying to make it. Thankful his truck is ok. I appreciate you, safe travels and GOD bless
ОтветитьThat's a shame,that looks like a nice truck!
Ответить9N 3/4 IS GOOD,,, NEVER A PERFECT SCORE BECAUSE THHERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT ,, LOL
ОтветитьWe have a twin winch bed and do these recoveries all the time single truck. Being a bigger truck likely diesel the international you just got would have gently tugged it no problem as well. But twin winch id just run one line anchored by the stump annd pulled side to keep from rolling andvdone the rest the same. Hell ive pulled (smaller vehicles) out of holes like this with my flatbed. Anyone that says you cant do recoveries with a flatbed has no imagination. In fact with the bed up you have a high pulling winch andbthe wheel lift or tie downs make great anchor points to refirect your pull. Ive even used the wheel lift and a chain yo anchor pull to keep one going over while winching out.
ОтветитьThe ultimate rescue would be Shasta Bally. That said, its gated and permit only so not so many weekenders there any longer. If your up there your usually working.
ОтветитьDo you still do mobile repair work? Would love to see it in a video if so
ОтветитьAwsome video well done buddy on a clean job ,loving the use of the small wrecker I do want to get one of those over here in the UK . Thankyou to your sponsor for comping the recovery bill . I love being able to do the odd free job I love the feeling I get from seeing there happiness. Nice to see Grumpy out with you all the best Mark and Emily at Rooster Recovery in UK
ОтветитьHaving fun with Grumpy and antique vehicle, doesn't get any better than that. 😂
ОтветитьI really like the teams of neighbors helping each other out aspect of this story. That Willys is turning out to be a keeper I think. Nice job.
ОтветитьEdit: what did the wagon cost?
ОтветитьI love that wagon
ОтветитьBreaking in FREE WILLY. Grumpy and Alex. Great recovery. That driver is very lucky. Possibly time to add small chainsaw to winter recovery equipment list.
ОтветитьNice F350. Hope he can get the damage fixed! That Willys has awesome, usable ground clearance. Love it.
ОтветитьHe otta be able to back up there
ОтветитьLatch onto the footrest
ОтветитьLatch onto the foot gaurd
ОтветитьOr , you said it once and repeated twice . Thats it ,
ОтветитьThat cab is 2” lower than the bed. Frame twisted? Driving that on trails? Buy a budget jeep - the hood & cab of that old 350 is longer than a jk. He’ll be amazed at where he can go in something half as big
Ответить3rd times a charm , you repeated 3 times , O
ОтветитьThat sure is a nice old Ford pickup. I think I need to vehicle shop in Oregon. Hard to find nice older vehicles in NY that aren't rust buckets.
Ответитьsee remote controlled winches in your future
ОтветитьNice OBS Ford. OBS Solutions tailgate panel too
ОтветитьThat poor Willeys - baptism by fire
ОтветитьJust found your channel. I love channels that spread positivity and also make people laugh. So I’ll start watching your videos. You seem like a good guy.
Ответитьhow can a person end up in a ditch on a level road? driving to fast and tooooooooo manyyyyyy "cold " snacks... tell the truth!
ОтветитьYahoo in the snow ❄️ not much of it but still Snow going to be fun again this year yahoo thanks 👍👍👍
ОтветитьNice OBS
ОтветитьAlways great to see Grumpy being himself.😊
ОтветитьNice obs. My old boss would say "poor ol girl"
ОтветитьThat was a super nice truck, you can tell its his baby. Hopefully he can get it back together and good as ever
ОтветитьThat was fun to see
ОтветитьGrumpy approved!
ОтветитьI left the parking brake on for 1/2 mile once, my hubby was not happy 😮
ОтветитьOther than needing a Badlands upgrade on the winch, I'd say it did pretty good.
ОтветитьDramatic for you tube?
ОтветитьNice recovery!! Looks like the wagon is doing fine!! I think it's going to be a great addition to your fleet!! Nice to see Grumpy again. Looks like he's doing really well!!
ОтветитьWhat's up grumpy love the wagon nice job Casey
ОтветитьBought a Delta 2, for our vendor business, nice having power wherever we need it!
ОтветитьWhat a great looking truck, well minus that tree. Grumpy and Willy for the WIN!
ОтветитьIs the drive train still straight?😂😂😂 Usually easiest to pull it out the way it went in.
ОтветитьWhere I'm at the RCMP want me to report any off road recoveries so to see if charges can be laid against the drivers! I said I'm not going to report anything to you because someone is simply stuck in a hole turning around! He says I can make it hard for you! The next week we have freezing cold weather and I drove away from a accident scene blocking the road to tend to a customer needing help at a construction site with a broken skid steer! 4 hours later I came back to the accident scene to do the clearing of the cars the cops yelling at me for leaving I told him the accident investigation wasn't done I'm not waiting around anymore for them taking their time bring a different tow company because I'm the only one in town and can leave the RCMP waiting 6+ hours for another company to work with them because nobody wants to live and work in the middle of nowhere!
ОтветитьGlad to see Grumpy too.
