Looks like the one called "Last past" was named so, because it's the last password manager you should let manage your passwords!😁😜

Try to save *warden password while offline/no access to server to sync later. Good ranking, agreed #1 is the king.

*badum* *tsss*

I think you should also include BRIWPED password manager, it one of the best, with much more unique features and what I like about it is the feature where it allows you to have full control of any login happening to any of your account instantly.

Someone help me out here. I've been using Bitwarden for years and love it, but I'm also a Proton Unlimited paying member, so I get Proton Pass. Here's my concern - Proton Pass does not have a separate password. I have a very secure, very robust password system that I've been using for Bitwarden. But if I switch to Proton Pass, then I have to use the same password for Proton Mail, Calendar, Drive, etc. Am I missing something here? I'd probably make the switch from Bitwarden to Pass if Pass had its own dedicated password that was separate from the rest of the Proton ecosystem. Thanks.

I just made a Bitwarden account today. The robust look and UI doesn't bother me. The website is straight to the point on function. Took me a few minutes to figure everything out, but I'm good now. The app is fine too, in my opinion. It may be plain/boring looking compared to other Password Manager apps, but it definitely gets straight to the point. Will more than likely upgrade to the paid subscription, instead of trying out 1Password first. I'm good with Bitwarden.

How can you recommend KeePass since it's been breached multiple times over the past few years? Also, BitWarden Family sharing always has issues. passwords not showing up when one member adds them to the shared vault. :-(

I am trying to decide between Bitwarden (maybe selfhosting?) and Keepass, but I was wondering about those clients for Keepass on different operating systems, are they audited someway?

Also, nice video as always, long time lurker here, now subscriber.

After a year of looking for an alternative to my old Outlook/Hotmail mail (had it since late 90s) and it's just gotten worse and worse, I found Proton Mail and compared it to a bunch of other services before taking their Premium service, and I don't regret a second that derision.
The feature in Proton Pass, to generate an alias email for each site is just awesome.

Bitwarden for me. It is insanely powerful when you run your own server. I run vaultwarden which is just a backend server rewritten in rust but it uses the same front end clients as bitwarden. Yes it take a little bit to get it setup but it isn't bad and is easier for me than Keypass would be. I wanted to add something to your best practices when it comes to password managers. One of the best use cases for a password manager, besides storing your passwords obviously, is to keep track of websites that you have given your data too. If you use a password manager then you know every service that has your information and if you decide to stop using a service it is not forgotten. It basically serves as an inventory and I can go through my list like once a year and see if there are any account I need to actually go close and request be deleted. Usually I refill out all of the fields before deleting so if the company decides they just want to remove my access instead of deleting the account that the information they have will be wrong. But a password manager makes the practices of Data Minimization and Data Obfuscation much easier to do.

For me 1 password is the best I like its automatic filling ....before i used keepassxc...but the problem is the synchronization with other devices ...u have to put the database in one cloud...and then i have issue with its extension on the browser which does not immediately synchronize with the program and you need to reload the extension.........i have same issue also with other browser.....i tried also bitwarden ...but for me the compilation is bad

The one feature you overlooked is the one in Bitwarden & NordPass that gives the age of the account plus the date you last changed password: I make sure I'm changing passwords at least once a year as this also ensures that any data breach/hack is likely to have old data.
I use Bitwarden & I'm get used to the new features/interface that seem to be working better. I also have Nordpass but that can be annoying that it keeps asking to update passwords when you have entered an authenticator code not a password.. I have a Proton email but haven't tried ProtonPass yet. I am using email aliases more.

Hit like if you agree with me.

Im using free version of proton pass and it works great. I just dont like the lack of ability to set different password for proton pass login and yeah there's two password mode but frankly its a nightmare. Just having the different password for each proton service under one account would be much better.
