Shawnee National Forest Camping/Hiking Trip

Camped at Dixon Springs State Park but visited several wonderful locations in and around the Shawnee National Forest including Tunnel Hill Rail Trail, Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock, Pounds Hollow, Glendale Lake, Millstone Bluff, Sand Cave, and Bell Smith Springs. I never would have imagined Illinois would have such beautiful remote locations like this.
