Great video and great detail on how to set up the bow thank you 😊
ОтветитьHow many bows do you own? I have to say I’m a little jealous.
ОтветитьBest how to vids...thanks.
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial on basic bow setup. Just remove the word “actually” from your vocabulary! :)
ОтветитьMy peep sight has been out of alignment since day 1. It’s straight back, until I draw my bow, then it’s canted and I’m on a time limit, before it’s so bad, I can’t see through it.
Ответитьwe could learn a lot watching your videos...great
ОтветитьHey man just wanted to say thank you for the knowledge. I’ve been wanting to get into archery and bow hunting for a long time. I finally went out a few hours ago and bought my very first bow. It’s a Bear Archery Rant RTH. Nothing fancy but I’m very excited to start on this journey. Thanks again for passing your knowledge on to people like me. God bless you 🙏🏻🇺🇸
ОтветитьSean, you are my #1 "How-to" archery guy. Thanks a ton for taking the time to make these videos. In another video you worked with a Diamond Edge SB-1. I got mine, got it set up and am loving the crap out of it. That SB-1 showed me that my DL was actually 26.0, and not 26.5 as I thought. Thanks, again, Bobby
ОтветитьHey Sean great videos been watching a bunch learning some stuff I didn't know. As far as needing a bow press for the peep sight how do you feel about the string splitter tool. I see alot of shops using that for tying the drop away chord or the putting in peeps. Just curious on what you think of those? Trying to do as much without buying a press lol thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
ОтветитьWow I’m so proud of myself for finally doing what my bow shop always did and that’s thanks to you great video clear and helpful thanks
ОтветитьI am sure you mean well. But this video is not for beginners who have no idea what you are talking about. I seem to find that with most of these videos.
ОтветитьLove this guys vids!
Thanks from Fox. N/W Scotland
Sean! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I was getting to the point where I’d adjusted about everything I could think of to correct my groupings, with no luck, and was ready to accept that this bow was as good as it was gonna get. But I followed along, and found that my drop away was misaligned, pretty noticeably. And now my groups are absolutely the best I’ve gotten!!! Crazy that it’s the small things that make a huge difference!
Ответитьsuper informative. helped me set up my bow as a first timer. thank you
ОтветитьHi Sean, thanks for all the video which has been helping me since the bow-bug bit me about 6 months ago!!! Could you please help me with a problem I created for myself during the lockdown? (more bored than anything else, so i started tinkering with my bow and now its a nightmare)
ОтветитьHey Sean I just bought a compound bow. New to the sport and I was wondering if you could give me some advice on accessories such as peep sight etc etc? Thanks a bunch and God bless.
ОтветитьThanks Sean
ОтветитьI made a comment on the first video I watched of yours and in that comment I said I have not seen a bow like mine since it was one that was bought for me back in 1986. I see by this video that you have that same bow in the background of this video. The compound bow on the left hand side of the screen as I am looking at it. How do you adjust the poundage on that bow please. Coming back after so many years and never really learned how to adjust the poundage, as my husband used to do all that for the kids and for me at that time. Now I need to know how to do this my self cause I want to go back to doing some practice to see how I would go at this now, before I join a field archery club.
ОтветитьJust bought a ritual 30.. After not being able to decide what bow I want for a week.
ОтветитьWow! Damn good video man extremely informative.
Keep up the good content 👍
Learning tons from your videos. Thank you! I do find it humorous that you stop and add the age warning on using a lighter when setting up a compound bow. I'd assume, maybe errantly, that setting up the compound bow is more dangerous than lighter. :)
ОтветитьVery good
ОтветитьMan, love your content. Very informational and easy to follow. I'm having an issue though. I've recently replaced my string and cable set on my Bear Rant bow. There was immediate serving separation towards the bottom of the cam where the cable rolls into the mod. I can see that eventually,it will lead to the string being worn. I've purchased a string and cable set from 60X by the referral of the tech at Field and Stream that put the current string set on the bow. I'm nervous that the problem lies in something to do with the bow and I'll only be putting on my new string set for it to get tore up as well. I've contacted people with the manufacturer and haven't really gotten any information or assistance. Please help! I haven't been shooting long and have only been out bowhunting twice. I love archery very much but these issues with the bow are really messing with me. Thanks in advance for any info and/or advice you can give. God bless and have a great week.

ОтветитьHi Sean, greetings from Australia mate, I really enjoyed your video, you explained everything so well in a way even a dummy like me could understand. Thanks very much mate.
ОтветитьGreat video Sean. A new bow owner here so I’m taking it all in!
ОтветитьGreat videos... thank you so much!!
ОтветитьOne million 👍up
ОтветитьI have a Mathews Reezen 7.0 and an HDX. I cant allign my arrow with the berger button hole without the rest slapping the riser. any ideas? my arrow is up too high which casues my knock point to be raised too high, creating clearance issues with my flething hitting my cable guide
Ответитьhello Sean
please I would like you to give me some advice:
which brand of compound bow I should buy to use in hunting and target shooting competitions
my wt: 28" height 1.76m thank you
Just got my first bow, and everything is set up. But when i look through my peep, a part of my sight housing is hidden behind the riser. Ive been looking all over for info, but can find anything. Is this normal? Many videos explain that your peep is suppose to contour your housing
ОтветитьYoung Nathan Fillion
Ответить"Don't pull a bow without an arrow on it" haha wish I knew that when mine came in. Took about 2hrs tryna fix it 🤣🤣
ОтветитьThank you very much!
ОтветитьSean,: got the Sanlida X8 .. how do I move the peep given it's tied in,? Thanks
ОтветитьAwesome great help
ОтветитьVery informative Sean! I like your detailed descriptions!
ОтветитьNever draw a bow without a arrow knocked? 🤣🙈💩.
ОтветитьThank you Sean. You are right in what you have said.. My peep sight don't stay in place after a couple of shots and this affect accuracy. I prefer the one with a rubber tube attached for better accuracy and I take down the measurement between the peep sight and the nocking point and remember it. Mine is a little more than 5 inches between the peep sight and the nocking point and 3.2 inches between the arrow and the upper most pin sight.
ОтветитьTy Sean!!
ОтветитьSet up my new compound and noticed when looking to front that arrow and string do not align with sight and string. The arrow rest is in all the way towards handle and still have a arrow width difference from pins to arrow. The pins tend to disappear when sighting, blocked by handle. Is this normal or is bow defective?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know where you get that nut that goes on the bow strap? Thanks.
ОтветитьYour tutelage is Awesome, thank you very much.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI got the dragon X9 and the Quick release broke. It wasn't strong enough to hold. So I went in bought a professional one. That cost me $70 and now the piece that the quick connect connect to. It broke off. So I am very disappointed in the bow And will never get another one.
Ответитьgreat channel. thank you so much, got my compound bow yesterday and couldnt figure out why it was going right. i though it was the site. didnt even think that the arrow rest could be out of line. great advice. Subed
ОтветитьNever had the confidence to do it myself, but after watching your video I set my bow up thank you
