AMD needs it's own "thunderbolt" standard, USB is two generations of speed behind and even usb 3.2 will only match TB2 in bandwidth.
A new open standard high speed port needs to be created that can give the bandwidth equal to PCIe X8 for these applications.
Also as TB3 is supposed to be royalty free and now open (reported 18 months ago), why haven't we seen one AMD motherboard with it included.

@amd May you please give Apple a deal they cannot refuse for going Ryzen cpu before they create their own cpu for macs and it’s too late. You may have to license th3. But please! Lol
