People Try Driving Stick Shift For The First Time

I only drove manual during lessons 2 years ago and i really badly want to do it again now to prove i can still do it

Manual cars are so unnecessary, what’s the point?

Let the drivers know right off the top, they can not safely use a cell phone, and drive a manual shift car. It will be devastating.

I am from Europe, so I had my lessons in a manual. It was a comfortable diesel, easy to drive and I was pretty good at it. Got my license, and had to drive a petrol two cilinder as it was my family car. The difference was insane, and I couldn't drive it well at all. I took two weeks to try, still couldn't get it and got an automatic instead. I blame the car, but it's probably my own skill haha. I still know how to drive stick, but haven't done it in so long I am scared to try again. But I have to give it a chance some day

If you follow automatic driving, its similar to stick shift driving.

My first car when I was 17 was a stick. My dad taught me. Been driving stick ever since. I'm 44 years old now and will go out of my way to buy a manual transmission car. Manual is the way to go - they're fun to drive, you have more control of when you need to accelerate quickly, better traction in snow/rain. The car becomes an extension of yourself. It's a beautiful thing.

I taught myself stick by stealing my step dads Hard body Nissan. He told me how to do it once. After that. Id just steal them. 😂 Also video games. I was stoked when forza inclusion a clutch

They wouldn’t know where to start with a giant truck I had to learn concrete trucks and they started me in a 6 speed eventually I made my way to an 8 speed when I got on the road , 2 different patterns it’s really not that difficult take your time and you’ll put it all together eventually

In UK and europe we just call them manual cars. But after 25 years of driving manuals, I moved over to automatic, best choice I ever made!

first time i drove automatic i launched my cellphone through the car when i used the brake but it was very easy me being use to stick shift the other way around i can imagine its much harder.
