Isnt it strange that in a communications hobby, many out there want to minimize contacts to 95 73

I agree about QSL cards. LOTW is great for chasing awards and helping other hams earn awards, but it just isn't the same as a QSL card. Even if it's just a simple card, it's still more personal than a computer screen. Keep the great videos coming!

"Ragchews" are great (the WARC bands are probably the best bet for consistent ragchews imo). I had a QSO with a DL station on 17m a few months back that lasted somewhere close to an hour and a half. We chatted about everything under the sun. It was great. "Signal report, 73, and move on" is also great. When I'm doing a POTA activation (or if you are in a contest) I need a certain number of contacts and there are plenty of people trying to get me for any number of awards. Gotta keep it moving to be fair to all. Both, and everything in between, have their place. No such thing as a bad contact :)

Merry Christmas to all and 73
