Thank you so much for this.
ОтветитьTypical.... for a bastard.
ОтветитьNot as good as Shindig but it still beats any of the over hyped nonsense of today
ОтветитьA good time to be alive for sure
ОтветитьWhat's with the bath tubs and Go Go Dancers? Denny sure was checking out the one to his left; he even said something to John about her. Michelle was hotter than this song ever was; thanks for putting this up.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest songs of all time.
ОтветитьWe were in Richard's Dad's 1957 Chevy station wagon, (ditching school) and I asked her, "Have you heard the new song California Dreaming? Who does that song?" And Cherilyn say's, "I don't know, but I sure like the sound."
ОтветитьTimeless music ...
ОтветитьGuess what? The United Nations defines genocide as ANYTHING creating conditions which over the long run will make it impossible for a people to preserve its distinct identity. These things include mass immigration, forced integration, promoting miscegenation, and the propaganda of White guilt. Genocide does not have to be PHYSICAL destruction. Read the LEGAL definition of genocide. Genocide includes MENTAL harm. Like everyone is saying, anti-racist is a codeword for anti-White.
ОтветитьMichelle Phillips was absolutely stunning back then.
ОтветитьLove the Hullabaloo Dancers... Lada Edmunds Jr. is the best of them all . Long red hair girl in the front!
ОтветитьThis was a lip-synch, but still, a great song of that period.
ОтветитьNope, Teri Garr was on ABC 1965 shows Shindig and Where the action is. NBC had Hullabaloo 1965 which was the better show with professional dancers...Broadway experiences. In this clip to your right is Lada, April , Sheila.. the blond the Pappas are admiring..behind , in the middle of the group is Tom. And to your left is Patrick and Jill.
ОтветитьDenny was 50 years ahead of his time with the facial hair. Now it seems that every guy in that age group looks that way
Ответитьthis is not live.
ОтветитьLoved this group, this song. I wonder if any of the bathtub dancers ever look at this though and wonder..., just wonder....
ОтветитьThe blonde lady that Denny is checking out....it hurts my neck just watching her. She's good looking though! :)
Ответитьi was 12 yrs old and loved this show and all the music, still do fifty years later
ОтветитьOne of the go-go dancers was Teri Garr on this show
ОтветитьHow things have changed in 50 years. White people can't wait to get out. Illegals and Brown folks have changed everything.
ОтветитьOnly in the 60s could you get away with dancers popping up a lot of dried bathtubs while somebody else is singing and playing music
ОтветитьI remember this show from when I was really really little
ОтветитьWhat's with the bathtubs?
Ответитьwhat's with the bathtubs?
ОтветитьA song like this could make you rich and famous beyond your wildest imagination.
Excellent musical performance !
A good time to be alive for sure
Timeless classic u will never hear music like this again I am happy and honored to have been part of it growing up in 60s and 70s great times I am last man standing my family and friends from those times have all passed I guess good keeps me around for some reason peace and love to u all
ОтветитьNot live, of course. Great song.
ОтветитьI thought they were overdoing the manic dancing of the Hullabaloo dancers in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but it's dead on!
ОтветитьThe funny thing is, if you go to any hippie shows or festivals today, you'll still see the exact same 60's "bad white girl dancing" moves
ОтветитьTwo beautiful young women, and a couple of goofy looking guys.
They had some great music in them.
Not live
ОтветитьOMG--I've never forgotten this image. I watched this back in the day.
ОтветитьThis is not live. Mikes are three foot away. Lipsinc
ОтветитьDancing in a bathtub could be cool...
Ответитьif only i could go back
ОтветитьNot only was a Michelle stunning, Cass was also a very beautiful woman inside and out. 😊💝
ОтветитьHoly lip-synch, batman! I mean, if you want to be convincing, at least plug in the guitar!
ОтветитьWell if you look close you can see the guys watching the dancers. Have you ever wondered what a groupie was well then I guess you missed the sixties. So all I have to say to California now is so long bye-bye farewell that was the era, definitely a blast
ОтветитьI feel so old seeing these at 65
ОтветитьYou can hear Cass singing the soprano part live, loud and clear!! Love it!
ОтветитьThe greatest bathtub commercial of ALL-TIME. Super Bowl level commercial magic right there.
ОтветитьCouple of times Michelle was looking around for her banana.
ОтветитьDon't be misled; this is not live in any manner, shape or form. They are merely lip-syncing which is what they did on most TV shows.
ОтветитьI worked on the show when an NBC page at 30 Rock
Ответитьsuper cool
ОтветитьHonestly i love Michelle’s high notes so much, it gives the song such a soul❤
