The 00s was the golden era of computing. We started to get really fast computers and networking , but we were not yet trapped in the FANG services. People still blogged on their own websites which they controlled. We ripped CD:s and could store those digitalized versions forever or share them with our friends. Free software was still a thing and people still cared (a bit) about their privacy.

Napster was the man pulling on over on you. You think it was two youngsters taking down an industry.
You probably think Bitcoin was developed be an obscure individual to over throw money.

The gatekeepers that used to decide who became a famous band or artist are now the gatekeepers of the digital world. You thought it was your revolution. 🤣😆😂🤣
