Delaware Governor Jack Markell accepting the 2103 ECS Frank Newman Award for State Innovation

The State of Delaware was the recipient of the Education Commission of the States' 2013 Frank Newman Award for State Innovation. Governor Jack Markell accepted the award on behalf of the Delaware Department of Education, Vision 2015, education stakeholders, and other leaders who worked together to develop and implement comprehensive education reforms over the last decade.
